Thanks for the welcome guys, I did think at one moment that being a drummer was a disadvantage on here    
 
Originally from the Isle of Wight, I was fortunate to share a beer with Mark King and his drummer, Gary Husband once in a bar in Ryde.  They both swanned in and no one batted an eye lid, I jsut walked up and offered to buy them a drink as I wanted to thank them for entertaining me over the years.  I ended up chatting cymbals to Gary Husband and Mark King couldn;t get a word in edgeways, which is very much unlike Mr King.

Well I started drumming at age 11 and over the last 27 years, I've been drumming in all sorts of bands.  One of my greatest acheivements was a guest spot to play "Aint Talkin Bout Love" with a band called "Spank the monkey", Dunno where they are now, great bunch of blokes.
