Here is my new baby, a 1981 fretless SB700. Yes, it's the one from this forum. It arrived yesterday, safe and sound from Poland. It's in great shape and sounds fantastic !

Nice looking bass. I doesn't seem to have any remaining fret lines, so how are the dots on this one ? In between, as on a fretted bass, or on the fret positions ?

Heavy TI user here as well. They might be expensive but they last a long time. I use TI flats on both my fretless basses (a Jazz and a Stingray) and TI rounds on my fretted Yamaha. Somehow I never seem to get on with 'normal' rounds (too much treble for my taste) but the Nickel TI's are just right for me. And that Stingray with TI flats...what a sound !

Very nice basses these. If it was a fretless I would have picked it up ! Have a bump on me....

Yes well..... when I speak Swedish everybody always asks me immediately "oh, are you from Holland ?". But the last name (Wijchers) is a dead givaway as well, of course

hahaha..... I really like the 'Gosh Young'. That could be a good band name, by the way (but what kind of music would come out of it...??). And 'spacious years', also a good one.

did I see correctly on the pics that the Stingray's original neck actually has fretlines on the side ? Also, would you be willing to ship it within Europe ?
