    Hi Joe,

I remember you buying this beauty off me three years ago. It is a lovely bass for sure. My 4 string Maruszczyk has a dark wood body & maple fretboard too, so I'm definitely fan of that combination!

I'm not in the market at the moment, but this shouldn't be around for long.

Yes! Thanks mate. I thought I’d have it forever. It’s a truly wonderful bass and a joy to play (and look at!).

  2. A very reluctant sale of this beautiful Fender American Std limited Edition FSR Precision Bass.

Ash stained body with very thin nitrocellulose lacquered finish. American made in 2012. I was looking for one of these for a couple of years before I found this one and haven’t seen one for sale since. I believe there were only 140 of these made and released in Europe in 2012.

The condition is excellent and has never been gigged. Has a couple of small dents which I have pictured. Two on back of body and one on the lower body horn.

Factory fitted with Fender Custom Shop 60’s pick ups, which sound incredible.

This is the best sounding and feeling bass I’ve owned (I’ve had various US and American Vintage Jazz and Precision basses). Used it to record an album and it was head and shoulders above my other two USA Fenders.

The price, £975, is (I think) a fair price for a FSR American Fender. It’s a truly incredible bass and I’ll be really sad to see it go.

I live in Cornwall and am happy to securely wrap and courier anywhere in the UK (at buyers cost). No further a field at this point I’m afraid. Happy for anyone to come and try out if you’re near sunny Cornwall!
