  1. Fender Jazz Bass Left handed MiM 2005

Sunburst Fender Jazz in beautiful condition. Serial number MZ4093582

It’s been well set up. The truss rod has been adjusted to give a nice low action and is very comfortable to play and has a great tone with a warm punch.

The electrics have been sprayed with Contact Spray, so they work as they should with no nasty scratchy sounds from the pots.

The frets have been levelled and polished and the intonation is spot on.

The neck has been treated with Lemon oil so it’s clean, fresh and ‘fed’!

Happy to post at buyers expense.

    No case

    £500

    Chaddesden, Derby

All proceeds will go towards a charity for the homeless in Derby and a Home for street kids in Bogota, Colombia.

Enlist the help of a friend and get them to put pressure on the different sides of the cab while you play a note that triggers the distortion, if the sound goes away then something has worked loose inside. Had the same issue with an old Hartke cab many moons ago, secured the problem area with some wood screws and the cab was still kicking around local live venues about a decade later.

Good plan. I'll try this on Saturday night.

  3. Thanks for your help guys. I did the battery thing to test the polarity and all the cones moved at the same time.

The bass wasn't boosted too much--- just enough to get a nice warm tone.

I'll see what happens this weekend.

  4. I used my Hartke Hydrive 115 coupled with an Ashdon 210 for the first time last night after lockdown. The Hartke seemed to be distorting a little when the bottom end was cranked. Rolling off the lows helped but wasn't what I wanted to hear. Anyone else had this before please?
Head is a Hartke LH 500 and wasn't pushed too much.
    Thanks

  5. Very interested. I've had a look at their website but I can't find this instrument listed. Is it an Elwood L, please?

Thanks. Can you confirm that it was built as a fretless rather than one that has been defretted please?

Also, is it possible to see a picture of the side of the neck where the 'fret' position markers are please?
