1. Thanks! It's a bass. It had a neck reset, one of the swithes does not work. Otherwise a good player. I'm asking cause I have seen some prices way up there...like this:

  2. I`ve played the F500 for the last year or so, and that`s a super amp, very clean and fast(and small!!). But after I got my 9.0 the F500 has stayed in the closet. The 9.0 is fatter, sweeter, punchier and much more solid(more headroom) in the lows with my 5 string basses. Definetly a step-up IMO, and with the Uber 410 it`s the best rig I ever played.

However, like the BadBull it is difficult to utilise the full power of it unless you have cabs with appropriate matching ohmages and when are you seriously going to need that much power! :) The P600 is a lot more sensible though 600w @ 4 ohms and it 'can' operate @ 2 ohms if need be.
Can you tell me more about the Black Cat amp? What does it sound like? Can you compare it to other brands, like Ampeg, SWR, EBS etc?
    Thanks

Tell me a little how it sounds. My current setup is Mark Bass F500/TecAmp L410 and various jazzbasses. I play mostly soul/funk and blues. I`m pretty happy with my rig, but sometimes the limiters on the F500 kicks in, mostly when i slap the B-string. I kind of miss my old SWR SM900 for its headroom down low. So I`m looking for a amp with enough headroom, not very tubey sound and a quick response.
So I got my eyes on the M6 and maybe M9, Shuttle 9,0 and the TC RH450

  5.
Absolutely lovely LM5 Bugbass - the black and maple is just a classic combination!

I notice you appear to have the original strap pins on the bass - I don't know if you intend to change them, but if so, just a quick warning. My AC arrived with Dunlop straplocks installed. I marginally prefer the Schaller system but when I tried to swap the Dunlop for Shaller pins at the weekend, I discovered that the screws for the Dunlops are much wider than those for the Schaller and thus can't be used to secure the latter. I've retained the Dunlops - not a big deal but worth bearing in mind.
Thanks! And thanks for the warning too, I was acually thinking about intalling a Schaller system.

    Here's a pic of my KBP5
