    Hey all,

     

    I'm sure I'll regret this but I'm selling my Barefaced Six10! It's in excellent condition, only been used live a handful of times. Barefaced make seriously great cabs and this Six10 is no exception. I used it on a session at RAK Studios and at first the engineer was super reluctant for me to not use their in-house Ampeg B15 but as soon as he heard my rig he was very happy indeed (here's a video from the session if you want to hear it in context... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I6f9kJYrbw&list=PLTaMHbMoRhC4APz9Y-cj-ubxdZRVC_SyF&index=6)

    Ashdown Rootmaster RM-500-EVO I Bass Amp Head w/ Footswitch!

    I've owned this amp for around 2 years and it's one of the best class D heads I've owned. Super reliable, great EQ, handy onboard features (sub-octave, drive, compression... all footswitchable!) and loud too! 

    It has a few scuffs and scratches but it's in perfect working order. You're welcome to try it out at my place in Bethnal Green.

    Now in its second evolution is the RM-500. The 500-watt power section of the RM500 EVO has been developed to maintain a deep low end, defined mids and transient highs delivering its output into a 4-ohm load. Ashdown Rootmaster heads are the perfect choice for working bassists looking for power and features without the weight. 

    The Rootmaster EVO series’ pre amp now includes a passive and active input jack socket for use with high and low output instruments, this sets a clear signal path to the input control enabling you to fine tune your input level using the trademark Ashdown VU meter. With the signal at its optimal level, you then hit the rich features designed enhance your tone, such as the shape button, 5-band EQ and on-board compressor. The drive control, as always delivers a delectable valve emulated over-drive, whilst the sub harmonic controls add further fatness to your tone - both can be foot-switched via an FS 2 footswitch (sold separately). 

    Rootmaster EVO heads also feature an upgraded power section plus a handy mute button. What’s even cooler is when switched to mute, the trademark Ashdown Engineering VU meter changes from orange to cool blue – creating the perfect on stage mood lighting between sets.

    Revelation bass brand - any experience?

    I think they're great! I own three. The RBJ-67 in white, RBJ-67 Dlx 5 string, and the RPB 65 in sunburst. I've been gigging them for a couple of months and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from other bassists/musos on how they sound, look and feel. We do also sell them in the shop and they sell like hotcakes. One of our customers Rob Mullarkey bought one as he loved how closely it resembled his '62 precision!

    Of course! Although... a new website is on its way very soon ;) But you are quite right, could be the best website in the world but it still doesn't compare to playing a '57 P bass!!

    I'm selling my Vanderkley 210MNT. Great cab, lightweight, punchy, very versatile. Just need to sell it to fund another purchase. It's in great condition other than some rust on the handles.     Hi all,

    I'm unfortunately selling my Cort B4FL. It's a lovely bass. It sounds, plays and looks amazing but due to the need of funds for more musical toys I'm having to say goodbye. I'm based in St. Albans and you're more than welcome to come and try the bass through my Aguilar/Vanderkley rig. Alternatively, I can travel to you for some petrol money.

    There are a few small scratches on the back of the bass but other than that it's in great condition!

    I've put the price up as £300 but I'm open to offers.
