I'm in a much simpler place now myself.
For the past six years I've had custom build basses from Sandberg and Shuker. They were truly fantastic instruments with great electronics, 18 volt operation and six strings..... But.

My wonderful son Rufus was born three months ago and I sold the lot, bought a jap P bass and love the simple plug and play attitude.
It really suits where I am in life, Im not saying I will never go back to a six string custom build but for now I'm a very happy daddy.

Keep life simple .... Buy a P.

I have for sale a Hipshot BT-3 extender that has reverse vintage gearing.
It's in great condition and comes complete with screws and mounting lug.

My work colleague has for sale a sunburst body / rosewood neck fender squier affinity precision bass.
Its in god condition for its age with a few dings on body and small marks on the neck.
I've given it a good clean / setup and strung it with new Pro Steel strings worth £15.
Would make a good backup / starter bass / custom build project.
I've played a few gigs with it with no problems with sound or playability.
It has no case so posting is out.
offered at a crazy £70 collected from Weybridge ( work ) or Sandhurst ( home ).

Len bought a DHA VT-1 from me and the he has been a real gent. Highly recommended buyer.
