  1. I`ve just bought a leftie KZ5 from Bass Direct(in Warwick) who have right and left handed in stock, you will find Mark and the team very knowledgeable ,the sound of these basses is truly amazing, clear with great sustain,they are also very light in weight the neck for me is superb very similar feel t my Status awesome finish for the money too!

  2. I had a l/handed marathon 6 string bass finished black back in the early 80`s, I too have a rather rare l/handed 8 string and fretless 4 marathon twin neck which I`ve had from new, it`s currently in bits up in the attic but all complete I`m hoping to get it restored soon! it weighs a ton mind, you could`nt use it for a compete set thats for sure! try an post some pic soon

  3. This bass was bought by myself new in1999 as factory built lefthanded, I in fact made the scratchplate myself from a blank bought from Allparts UK, as I did not like the the original, the lined fretless neck conversion was carried out by the great Marten Peterson at The Gallery Camden Town, a superb job he made of it too! he also replced the original controls with chrome ones, this intsrument has quite a unique sound and is near mint condition as most of the time has been in the studio or hanging on my wall, shame but that is why it has to go!

  4. I have a few lefthanded basses for sale that are now reduntant they are as follows;

    Danelectro lined fretless near mint £135

    reply if more details are required, photo etc, plus my contact derails

  5. Both the drummer and myself are lefthanded but as I play mostly an NXT EUB with my bass guitar slung to my side(which allows for quick changes between numbers) we don`t get in each other`s way but can still have eye contact, seems to work for us anyhow!

  6. The Pace has a standard 34" scale neck with a piezo bridge, complete with fitted case and easy to set up stand system, great growling sound, with new rotosound flatwounds,very good condition, currently strung lefthanded with repeat side markers(can easily be reversed back to RH) £275[attachment=112012:P1000883.JPG] nowSOLD

  7. This EUB has a 42" scale and although is currently strung right handed could be reversed to left hand as discrete side dot markers have been added on the left side of neck, also the boy brace can be fitted either side, comes complete with gig bag and static stand, in good order and has an authentic sound,
    £250 ovno
    NOW SOLD!

  8. This 500VB comes with gig bag and static stand this bass is currently righthanded, but can be strung lefthanded, some discrete side dot markers have added on the left side of this 42" scale neck
    also the body brace can be positioned on the opposite side, great authentic sound and a good opportunity to try this type of bass! £250 ovno

  10. Blow Me! just noticed the sticker on that headstock, Tony Bird used to sell quite a number of Wilkes guitars back in the 80`s I was in a band with him and he played a very nice white Wilkes guitar at the time great build/hardware and sound!!

  11. Hi LEFTYORKY,
    I have two of these Squires one natural/maple neck and has a schaller 3d bridge, D`adario XL`s schaller strap locks and a fender pickup cover plus white scratchplate and one is a sunburst/rosewood neck with a Babicz bridge plus black original jass knobs, its quite amazing how different these two basses sound!
