  1. John, what a guy, DJ5 I bought from him was really well cared for, picked it up and got welcomed with coffee, plenty of time to inspect and play the bass, even got a lift back into town! And I got to fondel a 70s jazz. Absolute gent, only good things to say. Loving my Lakland!

  2. Thanks for the interest!. Can't remember the inputs (didn't use it for months and now it's with the fixer) but I'll check as soon as I can!

    Anything else let me know.

I've also had an offer for the cab so may be selling the head separately if that interest anyone?

As for trades I'll always take a look but kinda just looking for cash.

    Anything else please ask!

  3. Hi all, sadly most of my gear is going :( this included my beloved walkabout scout. I haven't really got any pictures right now as I've got it in for a service at Drummonds Electronics in Newcastle so whoever gets it it'll be in tip top condition.

Few light scuff on corners but when I get it back I'll post pics.

Ideally would like £850 for it.

    Anything else please ask.

Ooh also it's the 1x12 4 ohm one.

  4. Im now self emplpyed which has its perks! But taking the leap has left me financially a little tight. So unfortunatly doing a bit of a clear out.

Up for grabs a really well looked after Sadowsky RV 4. Olympic white and tort guard. Looking for £1250 Ono. Not really looking for trades.

Any questions please ask. Anyone nearby is more than welcome to come play.

    Photos coming soon!
*im an idiot, its an RV 4 not MV 4 - Rosewood neck.

This is the only photo I have right now but more will come today!

  5. I think I'm in the same boat as most others, forever I wanted a Sadowsky but could never really afford. I got lucky recently when I managed to get a great deal on a used Metro RV4. However I had never tried a Sadowsky in my life nor did I have the opportunity to play it before buying it....but I took the plunge.

Granted its the cheapest entry level Sadowsky but I love the pre amp and it just feel like a well constructed bit of kit. What I get out of it is vintage looks and a modern tone (and it works for me:) ) and right now I long for no other bass...actually thats a lie...I'm GASing all the time but thats not the point. Basically I am quietly impressed with it.

  6. Dropped off my beloved Streamer CT to Nigel this weekend. He cashed me way in advance and invited me in for a cuppa. We chatted bass, listened to some tunes, checked out his studio. He even picked me up from the station (at the expense of a flat tyre)

So highly reccomended in my books.

    Thanks for the hospitality Nigel!
