1. For sale here is my beautiful Standard Jazz Bass. It is Mexican made and is completely stock apart from the black pick guard I have added. As you can see, she has a maple neck and fret board, which plays amazingly well.

It's a reluctant sale, and she's only about 9 months old if that, but I need the money. It's in very good condition with just a minor scuff mark below the input jack (pictured). It comes with a Fender gig bag plus a much better bag I bought to give it some extra protection whilst in transit. I'll chuck that in too

I am in Exeter, Devon, and I'm looking for around £350 for her. Courier not a problem provided you organise it. I work from home so collection wouldn't be an issue.

2. Hey guys,

Due to a switch in band roles, I no longer need this rig. It sounds killer.

- Ashdown Evo 300 - all the usual refinements, though doesn't have the built-in compressor like the newer Evos
- Hartke 1x15 and 2x10 cabs

I am in Exeter in Devon. Courier (arranged by you) or pickup is fine by me. No trades, no separates and I'm looking for around £350 :) (Make me an offer).

It was bought from a very nice chap right here on BC.

3. I thought my technique was shocking this evening when I was playing notes on the 2nd and 7th frets that were sounding open notes on the other strings that weren't muted. When I muted the notes, all was good. I then experimented, for shits and giggles, and plucked the A on the G string, making sure to NOT strike the open D, and to my shock, it resonated anyway!

This happened on all bottom three notes on the 2nd fret and on the 7th too. I haven't done anymore experiments yet.

Ok I can mute the other strings, but when you're certain you're NOT striking the other string, it shouldn't sound when playing an adjacent one right?!

To my knowledge the Mex Jazz Bass is in good set-up. I've had it since new more or less (bought from a chap that sold it after 3 weeks).

4. Hey guys,

I'm looking to move on my GK MB115. These are the lightweight range by GK. 200W from a 15" speaker. Solid and dependable amp with the excellent tone you'd expect from GK.

£330 new, a few nicks here and there, so asking around the £200 mark (make me an offer).

I would consider a trade + cash for something a little more potent for the larger venues our band plays nowadays. I'm looking at other GK stuff, Markbass, Ashdown etc.

5. Hey guys,

For sale here is an Ibanez SR300 bass, which I've owned for about 10 months from new. It is in mint condition, and I've always looked after it and kept it in good set-up. It is an active bass and has a big sound - excellent for finger style and/or slap. I am selling due to an upgrade.

You can read about it on the Ibanez site here: http://www.ibanez.co...ars/model-SR300

And a review on Bass Guitar Magazine here:

I am looking for £160 for her and I am in Exeter, Devon for a pickup.
