Yes, it must be something like that, I can’t find any info about letters in the S/N

Hi all! 
I’m having trouble reading the serial number on my Made in Japan Fender p-bass. According to fender it should read one letter followed by six digits, but in my case it looks like there are letters mixed with the digits. Does any of you know how to read this? I attach a pic.
