Trust me, even if you go looking there doesn't seem to be much bands available
At least, not if you don't particularly want to be part of a metal band

I've got a Mexican Jazz
It's really good (at least it does all I require of it xD)
But I'm going to repeat the advice that's been given a few times here already of "Try before you buy", it's you that's going to be playing it after all

Well, when I first started I could only be bothered to learn songs that I already knew and liked xD
So just do that, nothing too complicated or anything
It's probably not worth getting started on the whole "You should be practising 30 minutes every day" right at the beginning
Just try and keep it fun would be my main advice

My main bass : Mexican Fender Jazz Standard 4 string
My back-up bass : Warwick Rock Bass Streamer 4 string
My double bass
And my uke

Is there anybody else from Glasgow? It seems like there's a lot of people from Edinburgh, but I haven't seen any other Glaswegians yet
