Im thinking of going for a pre and power amp set up either going to be the vt bass of oxford for a pre.
but does anyone have any recommendations for a power amp as I'm totally New to this type of rig
probably be using a 4x10 so about 5-600 watt I guess .
thanks -
actually don't need to know more about anything to do with buger ah just had a read on em.
could go with a pre/power amp set up if the pre amps went pretty much the price pf an amp alone
should probably add I play in a loud doom band and am tuned down -

Bugera 1960 is a Marshall master volume clone, will do a driven valve thing pretty well, including the important power section bit you won't get with the hybrids.
isn't that bugera a guitar amp? if so how would it perform with a bass? I'm interested as its not mega money too
also the terror looks pretty cool but not sure it'll satisfy me fully as its still solid state -
hiya mate ill take that string for a couple quid postage if you still got it.
cheers

I'll swop my Fender Classic 60s Jazz neck for your Geddy Lee one? I loved my old Geddy's neck.
hhmm maybe if its maple whats the profile and thickness of that neck like ?
if i had the cash id get a custom lefty precision neck made in maple then blocked and bound -
ok
i had an Ad200 head loved it to bits but an unexpected debt popped up and the only thing of any value i had was above head I know i know im a twat im still crying now
What would be the cheapest way to get close to that overdriven 70's vibe
seen the terrors are they any good ?
or any real good preamps i could run through a power amp
Reccomendations please -
man i wish i had the money for this
People.. buy this and need not overdrive pedals -
cheers for the info on mighty mite i been wondering about them.
as much as i love my geddy jazz i cant get into the whole skinny neck thing -
Brings a tear to my eye I had to sell my Ad200

got an old geddy signature jazz
love the sound of it but grown real tired of the skinny little neck
would like to put a chunky neck on it. not sure a regular j neck would be enough change or if I can go for a precision
still want it to be maple and take the same tuning pegs would prefer a lefty neck but not fussed
can anyone help me out with some advice
might even be up for a trade if you got a good neck going?
cheers
