great video. i now know that my soundpost is in the right position and if it ever did move i would feel fairly confident in moving it myself.

my bass is in the corner of my living room so i just walk up to it,spin it round and play. i live in an upstairs flat on my own.... maybe thats why

I finally ordered myself a Hurley Virtuoso pup from the USA .i feel my K&kbassmax is to boomy .
if readers remember i had trouble with the first Hurley order not turning up .

anyway a missed card was left today and it looks like i am having to pay £14.70 customs charge on the thing before i can pick it up from the post office.
Surly it cant be all that? The pup only cost £34 including p&p, if my maths is right that feels like a 50000% customs charge

sorry your right they do offer a 30 day money back guarentee . it was just my luck for it to happen after 2 months

They wont give you your money back, thats what i asked for. i told them i had lost all faith in their product and all that ........ but no they wouldnt play ball. you would have thought they would know about this problem by now. i even emailed them the link to this site for them to have a look.

Hi received a new combo back from thomann 10 days ago.
I suppose that’s the downside of buying things from overseas. I was left without any amp for over a month I wasn’t happy at all as we had gigs to cover. Luckily I borrowed a mate’s amp. I did suggest a temp replacement to thomanns but to no avail.
Even though I am fairly happy with the sound of the amp after this experience I wouldn’t buy such a big item like this from abroad again.

if it was a real auction you wouldnt be able to do that , flebay should put a stop to it.

i bought this dvd a while ago, cant remember paying £28 though but i do know its a good dvd to learn from

like i said in a previous post, i have had my fender guitar amp for 25years from new and my trace for 20 and both of them have never let me down . i buy an unknown HB all the way from germany and withing a couple of months its not working. experiance tells me you do get what you pay. its the same with tools ect. quality costs

i have been looking at the TC Electronic gear , unfortunately the Genz Benz is out of my price range but if anything pops up second hand you never know. its for a double bass
