1. so, My Ibanez PD7 seems to have given up the ghost. i bought a powerbrick thing in the hope of only using one plug socket for both my pedals, yet when i have both the zoom b2.1u and the ibanez plugged in i get some horrible high pitched noise, and the pedals become really microphonic. it doesn't happen with each one individually, or with 2 power supplies, but then that negates the point of the power brick. anyone shed some light on what it could be?

  2. Normally its just

    1 bass (2 if i'll actually use a spare, except the 4 string isn't really a 6 string backup!)
    Head
    Cab
    Speaker cable
    20ft instrument cable
    10ft instrument cable
really, really short 1/4 to XLR
    Zoom B2.1
    Ibanez PD7
    6 plug extention
2 multivolt adaptors (although they've been replaced by a power brick now)
    kettle lead
    spare 9V batteries
    Condoms
    Debit Card

    :)

i really should bring fuses, strings and suchlike, but i hardly have room in the bag for my stuff!

  3.
I wouldn't touch this with a bargepole. If you look at his previous sale, the buyer is in the United States (for a kiddies bike??) and HE only has 77.8% positive feedback. Twice he didnt pay for the goods, and 4 of his sellers are no longer registered with Ebay! I think they may both be in on a scam...

Also there appears to be no reserve price and for a real fender you would expect it to have one (they start at £50 upwards).

Finally, I have checked the geography too - there is no place called Dunedin in the UK. The seller is registered in the UK.

    Bad move all round! :)
maybe he meant dundeen :haha

    and http://www.cityofdunedin.com/city/home.html

    NZ?!

BESIDES, he clearly states american. the old mex jazzes had those pickguards

  4.
I love the musicman and the Fretless, whatever it is. How does the MM 5 string copy sound?
Not too bad actually considering the price. the EQ in it is crap though, and the pickups slowly disintergrating due to abuse, but it still sounds nice and bright, but because of the EQ the low B is pretty muddy and boomy.

  5. Lag starts here

Cort Artistan A6 - My newest bass, weighs a friggin ton!

Cort Artistan C4 - Has the best neck i've ever played, better than the A6!

Vintage V940FL - My first and only fretless, nice and cheap!

Vintage EST96AF - 5 String stingray copy. has been gigged to death!

Hartke HA2500 and Ashdown Mag210T cab - New amp, fantastic.

    Laney RB3 - My old(er) amp!

Add to that a Zoom b2.1u and Ibanez PD7 that i don't have pics of!

    Lag ends here

  6.
yeahh i believe the one with the built in autowah is the T.M Stevens funk machine edition, ive always thought that considering its called a funk machine, its quite a generic shape really! come on cort, get yer act together!
The funkmachine is basically a black A4 with random paint and the funkwah setting. same pickups and everything

the funkmachine II (i think) is basically the cort C4 with the funkwah and in silver :)

by the way, that A4 looks fantastic.

  7. Chinko - Not actually chinese. is short with scruffy long hair and jeans big enough for 3. reguarlly seen buying things on a whim for the past 3 and a half years. but the stores never complain. First ventured onto bassworld in november 2003.
