1. For Sale are the following pedals so I can get my hands on a Darkglass Microtubes B7K :-)

I bought this from MyNameIsJeff last month In good condition with a few scuffs. With box & instructions

    MXR M80 Bass D.I. £95 posted

In very good condition apart from the battery clip, which has sadly broken - needs to be held on with tape. Excellent pedal which has served me well. With box & instructions

Boss TU-3 Tuner Pedal £45 posted

Alternatively can arrange pick up drop off in Birmingham city centre or anywhere in Black Country. I'll knock off £5 for postage if this is the case.

    Any questions let me know.

See photo attached, leads & pedal board not included :-)

  2. Up for sale, due to angry Wife(!) is my beautiful Vintage Sunburst Thunderbird Pro 4 string Bass.

I don't particularly want to let this go, but we need to make room before our house resembles a guitar shop.

Check out the link below for full specificiation:

The bass has never been gigged and is in mint condition. I bought this originally from Dawsons in Manchester. This has been professionally set up by One Way Music in Wolverhampton and plays like a dream.

I still have all the case candy, original shipped lead and I'll throw in a strap and the pictured RocSac soft case also.

I'm not prepared to ship however I am prepared to deliver/meet halfway in the Birmingham/Black Country area.

    Looking for around [s]£280[/s] £220

Any questions feel free to comment!

Yeah I did go for the MXR in the end, and I'm very pleased with it.

To my ears the distortion is pretty aggressive and metally, and it takes a bit of fiddling if you want to try and tame it to get a more overdriven sound. The only other thing is it would be good to have separate eq for clean and dirty, but hey, I knew about that when I bought it!

Apart from these minor things, it really is a superb unit, and suits my needs pretty well. As I don't need to use it as a DI box very often I use it in my FX loop and use it bypassed most of the time and have the clean channel set as a clean boost. Great quality sound and pretty compact and simple. No complaints at the moment!

    Thanks TRB,

Where did you pick yours up from?

Thanks for the help guys. The thread above, and all the opinions I've read, suggest that they're both good and it's just down to personal preference. My gut feeling is that th MXR is going to suit my needs best.

Welcome, see you there. You may want to send Machines a PM, so he can add you to the list. Let him know if you're bringing any equipment so he can list that as well. Also check the list to see what other people are bringing.
