  1. I couldn't resist adding to tghis thread! I have a SR900 in an amber finish. I totally love it! It's a really well balanced bass and the curved profile at the back is really comfortable. It's a great versatile bass, superb feel smooth fast neck, great attention to detail and really, really well made. 100% satisfied,! I've owned Status, MusicMan Stingray, an aray of Fenders, but this is my best yet! :) J

  2. I think a lot of us have had similar ideas. As for parts, you should try eBay, some sellers out there are a good source of stuff you'll need ie- endpin, machine heads, tailpieces etc... This guy is very reasonable:

  3. Hi BB, and thanks for the reply. I'm putting my DB into a Hartke HA350 with a SWR 210 cab- wonderful for my electric, but I'm still getting a brittle tone from the bass with feedback! I thought that the preamp wmight help more than it is, but the difference it makes is quite small. It is however quite early days and I really need to spend half a day just tweeking the many controls on the Fishman. My main angst is the thin tone and the feedback. I sould take it for a bit of a setup (the bass that is...), probably in thenew year. I will also be fitting aluminium bridge adjusters also soon. Cheers, Jon
