Edit: This one is tooooooo long
You find the short version 9 messages below...
Which I personally think is a pitty for it does take some time for this undoubtedly multi-talented sport-lady to float all the way up (of which I'm pretty convinced she's going) and for me to describe what she's going through along the way. -
Is told by some bassplayers perhaps? Watch them, they are not that reliable sometimes.
A bit of background info wouldn't hurt I guess:

Always decouple your cabs from the floor or stage. Especially of it's wood or an otherwise vibrating construction. You get rid of the mud and gain a more tight bass doing so.
The Quiklok WS-550 is stable and height adjustable. Add a layer of foam for the best results.

PS: I wonder how bassdirect can ship such cabs for 30 pounds to the continent...

Large figures every week can move mountains... -
Original speakers in it? Are you the first owner? If so and
if you would consider shipping to the Netherlands (on me naturally) then let me know.

If you can find some package stuff and are willing to ship this one to the Netherlands (on me, of course), let me know.
For me this would be much cheaper than come and pick it up at your place.

How about a trade with my 6 string fretless Malinek Physical bass with Bartolini pre. Handcrafted by Peter Malinek, former Warwick employee?

The IP112ER puts out a ton of bass in some rooms (me likey...my other cabs are Acmes) and there are times when you need to be able to tame it to stop it from turning into a wall of mush.
I have read that the Monique doesn't have any high pass filtering built in (Greenboy forums - Monique thread). I'm assuming the DSP from the IP112ER probably handles that...I think...so all I'd need to know is if the 'Bass' knob on the Monique, when used appropriately, can cut some of the boom whilst maintaining a decent low end. Any thoughts?

When cranking all up to the max the speaker of the IP112ER can be troubled (if you don't use an extention cab).
First check is the bass controll on your bass. This one needs to be about neutral on high volumes.
Secondly there's a DSP switch at the back of the IP112ER which can be used as a high pass filter.
WARNING: First switch the amp off and wait a few seconds before pushing this DSP button!
When pushed in it allows some more low frequencies. Officially this is the setting when using an extention cab. It can however also be used stand-alone. The only difference is a bit more bass. -

wow, I'd like to hear this.

Hm, Hamburg is not that far from Groningen. Can you suggest some places where a heavy rock band is welcome? Then I could try to arrange a gig (or two ) at your home town. Would be nice! -
Too big a question for too small a wallet and too short a lifetime.
I'm only playing bass for around 35 years now.
Wanted to try so much more but not everything was within reach.
Where others want the signal to be compressed, for me the bigger the dynamic range the better. I wanna be able to hear what the fingers are doing.
Walter Woods is a serious contestor.
GML2020 through a Crown XTi2 would be pretty amazing...
Ended up with Jule Monique and Bergantino IP112er, which combination leaves all others (Trace Elliot, Ampeg, Acoustic Image, Genz Benz etc.etc) far behind:

Free bump for this little giant.
And here are the specs from Jorg:
One front fired 12" woofer/ One angled 12" woofer
High quality tweeter horn
1/4 inch and speakon connectors
Custom crossover with attenuator
Frequency response 40hz - 18khz
103db spl @ 1w/1m
4 Ohms
60cm x 41cm x 41cm (HxWxD)
Custom Neodymium woofers
250w Titanian Super Tweeter
800 Watts RMS
approx. 19.1 kg
The 1212 retains the clean punch of the 1210 but delivers a rounder tone with more low end. A lot of muscle and super efficient. -
Not enough strings to my taste.
