Those aguilars sound great. And 19mm string spacing! Tempted!

Nice. Where are you based?

Seeing as this is kinda the subject here - has anyone has any experience with the neck pocket of an SR605?
I ordered one from my local music store which came today and has a 1mm(ish) gap between the neck and body all the way along the upper horn (though the extended portion fits snug) - i left it at the store and asked them to contact their suppliers about getting one with a better fit
My question is - is this a QC thing or are my expectations too high? -

I just bought Harry's ns design upright -
Harry was really excellent with communication throughout the sale and deliveryand the bass was packaged really well. No chance of damage to the bass.
Thanks Harry! -
fair point. if only the reidmar was more dinky - it'd be a complete no brainer
-
my problem is - i have a feeling that the reidmar's sound is going to be more to my liking, but for the price and portability the BH250 can't really be ignored - the videos on youtube don't really do much for me - can anyone tell me if it it delivers in tone and volume like the reidmar (or even like the GK MB200)?

hi - I was wondering if anyone's run an A/B test with or tried both of these?
the size of the TC really appeals to me and the toneprint looks like a great addition, but is its 250w as plentiful as the EBS 250w?
I'm looking for a backup for my Trace Elliot v300 head which is plenty for me at about 12 o'clock on gain & master - just using a single 4ohm schroeder 1210R cab.
cheers -
If they came out with a single 10" or 12" cabinet it would be great
they really have removed the bits that made it appealing to me though -
Thanks a lot

Hi all - I've got a squier p bass (silver series - MIJ) which I really like but has had a machine head bent and ruined - the problem I have is that these aren't the same size as my MIM bass - the ferrule is too small for the MIM peg.
does this mean:
a) jap squiers all have small tuning pegs and i just need to seek a jap replacement
MIMs have larger than normal pegs?
c) the silver series in particular have freakishly small hardware and i have slim chances of finding a replacement
cheers

Ashamed to say I can't read notation yet, the thought has crossed my mind though!

2 birds with one stone? -
This might be a stupid point, but have you got the 'james jamerson - standing in the shadows of motown' book? that's about all the groove I need....

i tried one for the first time at a rehearsal last night - it really enhanced the tone of my bass. also - if anyone wants to nail the bass sound on 'runaway baby' by Bruno Mars, this pedal's distortion is the one. definitely won't be moving from my pedal board in a hurry.

here's mine.......

Quick shipping and good communication - everything made easy
Thanks Harry! -

i've been using a mag 300 combo for about 8 years now - its never shaken my rib cage but it has always been loud enough (i've done theatre shows to metal gigs to function gigs with it). incredible 'work horse' combo.

Is a "pod xt" with the bass pack the same as a "bass pod xt"? Sorry for the noob question.
