1. Bought a Fender Flea Signiture Jazz from Vin - absolute pleasure to deal with an really accommodating in arranging collection.

Thanks again for such a wonderful instrument, couldn’t be happier!

2. For Sale/Trade: Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5 - Black & Maple w/ John East Preamp

So I'm finally getting round to selling this after a year of barely playing it - I really thought this was a lifer, but after leaving the band I needed a 5er for I've come to the realisation that I just really don't get on with 5 strings, especially when I'm not practicing a lot. While I'll be sad to see it go, it deserves more usage than I can give it - a really versatile workhorse of an instrument, no matter what style you play.

So with all that sentimental stuff out of the way... the good, the bad and the ugly: This bass has tons of tonal flexibility due to the upgraded John East Pre; has both active and passive options (with a toggle switch), bass, treble and sweepable mids on a stacked pot for you to dial in the perfect tone. Huge low end when required, biting highs if thats your thing and sounds amazing with either fingers or a pick. I've used it in numerous studio sessions and always received compliments on it's tonality - the John East Pre does the "Musicman" sound really well, whilst also offering tons of other options too.

The bass is a beauty - the figuring of the maple neck is lovely, with a bit of a birds-eye look to parts of it. The pick guard is custom to accommodate the John East Pre. It's been well-used and gigged a lot over the last few years, so it's got a few battle scars (mostly headstock dings - see the pictures for details) but I've included close-ups of anything noticeable - nothing you wouldn't expect from a bass of it's age/how much it's been gigged. Neck plays brilliantly, I've always had a slightly higher action setup due to being played in Drop A (and my overly aggressive playing in my last band), but can get good and low if required. Comes with strap locks and a strap that is honestly the most comfortable I've ever used - nicely distributes the weight and balances the bass.

The serial number E02507 makes it about a June/July 1998 model (worked out here: http://www.musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0054.htm)

Ideally I'm looking for a trade here but will sell outright. What would I like in a trade? I'm really only interested in 4 string Fender Jazz basses (road worn is a plus), Warwicks or Laklands. A Part-ex with cash my way would be great, as I'm just not playing as much and don't need as high quality a bass as this for my current studio projects.

Happy to deliver within the North-West (I'm based near Manchester) - or I can post at buyer's expense (including insurance), although I don't have a single-bass case for it (I only have double cases). I'm open to discussing including a Mono M80 Dual Bass case as I have two (one with some seam-splittage, one relatively new) at additional cost.

3. I've got an EHX Memory Toy delay pedal that is free to anybody who needs one for spares/repair - signal can pass through it however I doesn't have any delay signal come through when blended in. It's beyond my electronic expertise to repair (and I haven't the time to learn right now) so if you fancy a bit of a go at it, it's free to whoever wants it for the cost of p&p.

4. Looking to shift on a whole rig that I've recently inherited. Would prefer to sell as one at £650 (with rack case), however can be split for the prices below.

Bugera BVP5500 - £170
Genz Benz Focus 410T - £250
Line 6 Bass Pod XT Pro - £220
T-rack Power Conditioner - £60

All in used good but used condition, selling simply because this is far too big/powerful for my needs. Collection from Stockport area is preferred, however can meet up/deliver within reason at buyer's expense.

5. FS: MTD KZ-5 Bass in Cherry

Looking to move on an MTD KZ5 Bass, in excellent condition (see pictures) - plays great although I've come to the conclusion I'm just not a 5 string player. For the uninitiated:

- 24 medium jumbo frets
- Zero fret 1-3/4" wide, 5-string

- Carved Mahogany body with Maple Burl top
- MTD quick release bridge, 3/4" (19mm) spacing

- Maple f/b
- Five controls:volume, blend, plus 3 band EQ
- MTD passive, wood covered soap bar pickups

If you PM me your email I'll send a few pics directly to you. The site I've uploaded the pics to is imgur, and as far I know it's one of the most widely used site for this sort of thing!

7. Final part of my rig to go - my Orange OBC 410 Cab. Absolutely incredible cab, tons of punch and really cuts through the mix.

From the Orange website:
"This superb bass enclosure is made from 13 ply high density 18mm birch plywood, with tough skids on the base of the cabinet for enhanced stage protection. The skids also act to couple the enclosure to the floor, thereby increasing bass response. Internally, the enclosure is acoustically compartmented for strength and anti-vibration.

OBC410 cabs features a high-powered Eminence APT80 horn with switchable hi/lo/off located on the rear of the cab.
Expect a highly focused sound with tons of great low-end and mids shining through.

Cab can handle 600w @ 8ohms, and has an adjustable horn control also. Full specs can be found here.

Only problem I ever found with the cab is the weight, which is why I added some removable casters to the skid plates on the bottom - see pictures - so you can roll it into a venue and take the casters off when you have it on stage. The cab has seen minimal usage also, a few recording sessions, some rehearsals, and a handful of gigs - I've primarily used house cabs for shows.

PRICE DROP TO £450 - cheapest you'll find one new is £850. Condition is pretty much as new - no rips to the Tolex apart from a few small ones on the bottom of the cab, and the cover has a few scuffs - all are pictured.

Collection from Rochdale is preferred, or can meet you halfway in the Greater Manchester area. I could be tempted into a trade for a smaller head/cab setup, however a straight sale is preferred.
