2. For sale is my trusty SWR monitor 12 cabinet. Now £145.

I have used it as my main rig for the last few years in a wide range of situations and it has always done a good job. It is a great sounding speaker. However, since I bought a Barefaced Midget a few months back the SWR has not been out of the house! It is actually a bit crisper sounding than the Barefaced, (my midget does not have the tweeter), but not quite as loud or extended in the low bass. I used it with an SWR Studio 220 and have had many compliments about my sound with this setup.

It is quite lightweight at 33lbs and easy to carry (but of course now I have the 20lb Barefaced any other cab seems heavy!)

Tilt back design so you can point it at your ears to hear the clearest possible sound but will also stand upright like a conventional cab if you prefer.

Power : 250 watts RMS
Impedance: 8 Ohms
One 12" custom driver
One LeSon piezo tweeter
Dimensions: 16"W x 22 1/4"H x 17 3/4"D

It is in perfect working order but a little bit dusty and the carpet on the bottom is scuffed - just normal wear.

Price £145. Collect from Reigate or Redhill (Surrey)

3. Was the auction pulled by ebay because you dared mention that you advertised it elsewhere? Did you loose your listing fee because of it?

Mike.
Well the first ebay auction got pulled for no bloody good reason and less than a day to go, a**holes. :) It's up there again now....

4. I can put in another very positive vote for The Gallery at Camden. Fantastic range of stock, exceptional staff. Happy to let me play as long as a wanted on as many basses as I wanted. Martin is such a nice guy.

Also Andertons in Guildford have been OK, but gets quite busy, and lots of different staff, so you may not always get a good one.

Mike

5. Thanks for that. I guess I should have looked a bit harder for the feedback forum.

As it turns out, Eubassix doesn't appear to have a feedback entry at present. I suppose I could start one, but I was a bit surprised he doesn't have one considering how active he is on the selling forums.
Hi Mike - head to the "feedback" section, a couple below of forums (forii??) this forum :)

And when you've fitted them bring yer bass over so I can have a butchers!
6. PU's arrived promptly this morning in good condition. I am busy for next week or two so will not be fitting them for a while. I will report back the results later in case anyone is interested.

Is there any official "feedback" rating system on basschat?

Mike

Warwick MEC active bass pickups -jazz configuration: m 60201 s (Short/Neck) and m 60201 L (long/Bridge). They were taken out of a European Custom bass (GMR 'Pi' - on the basses section) and replaced with a passive pickup/active-EQ system. The pickups are effectively new, showing little sign of use and the MEC (gold) logos are not worn. Top sound/specs and also have a full length of wire(s) attached, including the battery connection.

£42 delivered.
