Ovation Magnums use carbon fibre in the neck, they're a pretty funky bass with tons of low end.

I like the Magnum 3 the most .

I agree with the above post, Deftones are only decent band to have the tag of Nu-metal applied to them.

As for Warwicks, I've come round to thinking that they're overpriced nowadays, however, I'd snap up a vintage Streamer/Thumb in a heartbeat.

Currently playing an Aria SB-505 bass in wine red. This model in particular was discontinued by Aria in 2006 I believe.
