That JB is edible.
Have never been a fan of gold hardware, but cannot stop drooling at this bad-boy - it's a wonderful-looking bass
Well done on the build - I'm just awaiting a stack-knob control plate to finish off my latest monster... -
Thanks Alan - Your rather gorgeous Wal is the same finish as mine, gotta love that Wenge!

Hi Jon, and thanks for the welcome. I've played everything from hard rock (back in 1986), through to trad-rock (Irish traditional music with bass and drums/percussion), but recently I've been playing along with Bernard Edwards era Chic Works wonders with rusty fingers!

What style of music do you play?
Cheers,

Hi all,
I'm Mal and I'm in Dublin, Ireland - have been playing for a long time, but paused for some years, and only recently started back.
Current tools are a '73 JB (natural finish, with '71 neck), '09 American Standard JB (Lake Placid Blue, with BadAss II & Reggie Hamilton fretless neck), and a '85 Wal Custom fretless. Have a couple of Guild B-301s in storage at the moment. Sold off (foolishly) the Ampeg gear some years ago due to space limitations, am currently using a GK Backline II 115 with a 2 x 10 Hartke cab attached.
Looking forward to learning from y'all!
Nice shade of blonde....
