GIBSON LES PAUL 1959 HISTORIC R9 This is a stunning example of a Les Paul! None better...,it weighs 9Ilbs,so it is also the RIGHT weight too,some of these super light weight examples really do sound weak,be warned.This is a 2013 model,with all the final appointments and upgrades,it is historically totally accurate, I traded this late last year for another r9 and its in perfect as new condition,the top is not overly done,ie: IT LOOKS REAL, It has a very nice authentic looking 3d flame, and the neck is the perfect R9 shape,comes with the newer custom Gibson pickups that work to my ears far better than "burst buckers" It comes with the COA and all paperwork,plus the lifton case which is a £300+ upgrade

For sale is my USA PRS S2 Custom 24 Crab Blue Smokeburst, In mint condition just over a year old includes Prs gig bag and all paperwork. Have owned this for just over a month as always wanted to try one. Beautiful quality guitar but the neck is just a tad too wide for me hence the sale. The previous owner has had the trem set flat to the body to aide action and playability and combined with the locking tuners it gives a great low action playability.
Do not confuse this guitar with the entry level Korean SE range. This is built in the USA at the same factory as the PRS Custom 24 and shares many of its components.

For sale is my Yamaha Pacifica 112v Sunburst with rosewood neck. A recent purchase off Ebay this guitar is a superb buy in itself and in excellent condition having won the best sub £300 guitar category for the last 10 years. Its been heavily modified with over £200 spent on upgrades. Its had a Wilkinson trem fitted for more mass stability, with a heavy steel block at cost of £40 The Bridge and Neck pickup have been replaced with Boutique pickups by London Luthier and pickup guru Monty's Guitars, cost £150.
They are a GT500 in the bridge and a vintage strat in the neck. The pots have also been upgraded to US parts and the volume pot has a treble bleed network so you don't loose clarity when you turn the volume control.

Its a lovely pro guitar but unfortunately just doesn’t give me the sound i need

Hi, for sales is my Yamaha Pacifica 112 V. It's been my backup guitar for the last year but being more of a Gibson type player I have decided to replace it with a shorter scale length guitar to stick to a feel I know and love.
Although it started out as a fairly cheap instrument it's been majorly upgraded and is actually quite a nice player and sounds good too. I have used it exclusively for a solid months touring in Israel, last November, and it's worked very well and very reliably with not problems and no string breaking although it was played every single night for a whole month on the trott.
It has been upgraded and modded.
The trem has been replaced with a Wilkinson Trem with bent steel saddles and a steel sustain block, cost £40.
The Bridge and Neck pickup have been replaced with Boutique pickups by London Luthier and pickup guru Monty's Guitars, cost £150.
They are a GT500 in the bridge and a vintage strat in the neck. Here is a link to his site. His pickups are used by many pro's including the Bands Vintage Trouble and Biffy Clyro, amongst others.

The middle pickup has been removed as I never use it and prefer the 5 way switch to also work as a automatic coil tap for the bridge humbucker.
Position 1 is Humbucker full on, position 2 and 3 are Humbucker coil tapped, position 4 is humbucker coil tapped with neck single coil, position 5 is neck single coil.
This way it works and sounds more like a supercharged Telecaster, in a way.
It's in decent condition, the frets are good but there are a couple of minor small dents in the back but nothing to be worried about.
The pots have also been upgraded to US parts and the volume pot has a treble bleed network so you don't loose clarity when you turn doen the volume control.
The body os proper alder and the neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The neck is very comfortable, not too thin and not too thick.
I know that I will not get the monetary value of the guitar back but I am happy to cut my losses and move the guitar on to a happy new owner.
Alternatively I would be happy to take the pickups and the trem out and sell the guitar as a project without electronics and original trem for somewhere around £70?
There is no gigbag or case but the guitar will be well packed up or you can collect in London.
You will also get the original trem as part of the deal.

[size=3]For sale is my fender strat black with rosewood neck, all original. Great condition for age. Selling due to my musical direction is now moving more towards bass and wish to purchase a 6 string bass. More in depth detail as below[/size]

[size=3]Although the S9 serial number may indicate a mfg date of 1979, S for 70s, 9 for 79 this serial number covered a mfg period between 1979 to 1981 hence this is in fact a 1980 model built approx end of april early may. This is confirmed by the correct black grey bottom pickups with s/no 21 16 80 the 21 refers to the operator the 16 is the week of production and the 80 being the year. The pots also confirm this and match the pickups in date with the last 4 digits being 17 80 the 17 is the week 80 being the year. Also in 1980 the reverse of the pick guard was fully shielded in silver foil. All correct black hardware, decals, f style tuners, correct bridge,3 bolt neck with bullet truss rod and neck plate, and correct 2 string trees with different heights. Pictures are available for all of the detail.[/size]

[size=3]All in all a great guitar, a few bumps and nicks in the body but nothing serious, great tight neck pocket and what i feel is probably the most important factor is that the back of the neck is totally clean no nicks or scratches at all. The ash body is a tad on the heavy side as most of them were in this period but on a personal note i think this adds to the sound and sustain of the guitar. Original frets in great condition, hardly any ware. Superb low action, trem has been locked down and have lost the trem arm some time ago, just fitted with new strings, fret board has been oiled and body polished,[/size]

[size=3]Original case is in good condition, one of the hinges is loose but the case is fine to close and is secure.[/size]

just checked on the history of warwick web page, it looks as if you are correct, from 1995 to 1997 they switched to a bubinga body. Also it seemse that this 1995 to 1997 period is now becoming a sort after period .

Im thinking of re stringing my thumb 5 1996 with the original brass nut to E A D G C as i am moving towards using bass as a more solo instrument. Have just ordered som warwick red strings a 5 set inc a top C in the following dia 100 80 60 40 20. Does anyone know if the existing original nut will accept this guage or will i need a new nut.

Guess a 6 string would be ideal but funds do not allow at present.

Musicman Stingray in absolutely MINT condition!!!!!! No scratches or chips, recent new Rotosound strings and set up with superb low low action. Approx 12 month’s old, home use only. Plays as only a Stingray does, comes with original mint musicman hardcase and all documentation tools etc. Colour is Honeyburst on ash body with maple neck and rosewood fretboard.
No nicks or dings on neck either. New 9v battery fitted, 3 band EQ. Plays and sounds absolutely ace.
Genuine reason for selling: I suffered a stroke about 3 months ago which affected the left hand side of my body and need to purchase a 5 string bass to be able to play across the fingerboard as stretching for the bottom end is rather limited at present.

PS This Bass cost £1499 12 months ago !!!
