American Vintage II Bass in sea foam green with matching headstock and lollipop tuners. Have added Lindy Fralin 5% overwound pickups and had lacquer removed from the back of the neck which dramatically improved the feel of it. Also had the cavity insulated to help with interference with the single coil pickups. Sounds and feels great. Need to thin down my collection so looking for a new home for this one.

I have the action set at the low side of standard stock height. It arrived with a crack on one corner of the moulded case so I’m selling it with an unused fender case from one of my other basses. I still have the box it came in though for posting. Feel free to ask any more questions, Nick

It's a reissue of the '61 "cavern" model

Hofner 500/1 '61 Cavern Violin Bass. Beautiful German made bass with fantastic sound. I have two, hence selling one as i don't need both. Have had dots added to side of neck. This was done by Gordon Knight in Surrey. Nice flaming to body. Small ding on back of headstock and light checking to lacquer. Has roundwounds on but i have plenty of sets of flats if you need them. 

I still have this sexy little number. It really is a great bass, needing to make room for a baby!

Is £1600 too high for this? I'm open to sensible offers.

I've also listed the bass on Ebay this week with a starting price of £1350. A bargain!

Ok, so i think i posted this in Items wanted before by mistake. Am looking to sell this bass. It's immaculate, with hard case. These things retail for around £2300 Looking for around £1600. Contact me if you're interested or just want more info.
