Bump for a lonely bass!
-
A long time ago I posted this! and I hung onto it as I am a sentimental fool....but now it really must go so a long overdue BUMP!!!
-
Lovely fretless! have a bump from me. I have a fretted Musician that is my trusty workhorse.
Good luck with the sale -
Awesome sauce! Love the shape of these older musicians. Yes I'm a broken record but I will never part with my musician Good luck with the sale!
-
Have a bump on me, these are amazing basses, don't see many in this colour! Good luck, that is a great price
-
Hey there, it's thinner than a Peavey T40 and fatter than a Vigier Arpege...if that helps?!
-
These bring back memories! I had a T40, rosewood neck. Amazing basses! They really do deserve more recognition as iconic basses, I can definitely see myself hunting for one again in the future, and I think that is a great price for the blade pickups, don't see many of those! Good luck!

Always good to see these basses going strong! I'm a proud owner and will never part! Are you sure you want to part with it?!
-
Good find! I like the slap tone, be good to see some Pascal Mulot magic on something like this!

I've just got a Warwick Streamer LX4 fretless. Certainly vrry pleased with it.
Very nice! A Warwick is one I've never actually owned, but always love to play when I get the chance.
My fretless is an old Vigier arpege deltametal and I love the range of sounds from it! (If only it was an unlined model so people knew I didn't need to look at my hands ) -

That looks great, good luck with your sale.
The body and neck look very similar to my "Teisco": http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1

Thanks, certainly looks a similar breed! -
Did it go?! I'm still too poor but keen to know where this bass' journey goes, it would be great to cross paths in the future and hear it in action!
-
haha all good ideas I'm a fan of the deep red stain and black pick guard
Well if you change your mind and feel like embarking on that project you know were it is!
Out of interest, what have you just acquired? -
Very good point! I will update that, the jazz refers to the body shape, but I guess the defining factor to the sound is he MM replacement humbucker. Let me figure out how to update the description Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

Bump and open to offers, rather sell here than ebay!
-
Almost forgot...but not important..if you do listen to the sound clip on www.burniton.org it was recorded when I was 16! anybody guess which the first bass line I ever learnt was?
-
Hey there, thanks for getting in touch.
I shall swiftly reply before getting back to work!
For a sound clip, a rather old recording can be heard from a band I was in back in....1996 (giving my age away a bit there!)
It is on www.burniton.org and it is on the song "Let Me In" by Easy.
Gratuitous plug of a side project, it's early days and I'm still building the website but got to start somewhere!
Anyway, that is how it sounds. The Dimarz is a great pickup. I know the choice for basses in this price range is huge, I'm hoping the pickup helps!
As for a carbon neck, I haven't fitted this particular bass with one yet.
A little background about myself (I have divulged in other topics on here before) I construct Olympic Skeleton Bobsleds. This stemmed from when I was racing and now help other athletes too
Part of the construction involves composite materials and over the years I have been approached to make all sorts of weird and wonderful things out of carbon fibre, including snare drums, acoustic guitars and replacement necks.
Most of my time tends to be taken up with the sports equipment so I don't make many instruments and tend to be on a commission basis. If there was interest to have this bass fitted then it could be an option
I must say on a similar note, I am impressed by the Miller up for sale on here too and very tempted to make a similar beast!
Hope that helps, and back to work! -
Ah the reflective start to the day...
Every time I bump I think "do I want to sell you, really?"
We had some good times my friend, but you must go, be played loud and bass thump proud!! -
Gorgeous! someone has to snap this up! Where's the love for the carbon?!
I'm a big fan of carbon done properly (I use it to make bobsleds..random indeed!)
Good luck with the sale -
PRICE DROP BUMP!!!!
This is like parting with an old friend, price drop to £150 or make an offer. I am in Edinburgh, you are welcome to come take a look if you like -
