Don't put em all off mate - well, maybe one or two songs anyway...good to hear from you again man.

Job available again guys - let down unfortunately.

Thanks Rich, that's much appreciated.

All the times I've advertised for musicians before, it's been like pulling teeth, and this time I have three interested parties immediately.
I offered the job to someone just yesterday, so hopefully all will work out well, but many thanks indeed to peeps who responded, it's good to know there are people around here who are so keen. -
Have a dedicated rehearsal room in Dewsbury where we can leave PA set up etc - costs a bit, but a lot better then lugging gear in and out constantly - you just need to brave the cold in winter.

Bass player wanted for new band - the idea is to do a bit of a mix of R & B, rock & roll, a bit of country, a bit of punk - like Leeds band the Prowlers used to do when I was with them (if you've heard of them, of course) -
One of those things though that could change quite a bit when everyone throws ideas in and stuff gets bounced around - probably just covers though, a good mix of some well known stuff and some not so I guess - if you haven't already, check out the Jim Jones Revue, great attitude and performance.
Not looking to be ridiculously busy, but decent standard of playing, and above all, the enjoyment of playing stuff we like live. Don't worry, we're not the type of people who want to rehearse endlessly and never do anything with it - been there too often thanks.
Other members are well experienced middle-agers based around Wakefield / Leeds area. -

Gibson Thunderbird IV bass 1997. This bass is a genuine classic, and has the full size headstock, as opposed to some I've seen that have a smaller version. It's in good overall condition with no neck cracks or repairs of any kind. There is some wear around the edges as shown, but has no buckle rash on the back, please study the pics to see this. Original brown hard shell case is included in perfect condition, as is the original sales receipt. I have some scope for offers, but please be sensible. I would prefer pickup for this, but a courier can be arranged if necessary.

That didn't take you long Ash !

My pleasure Andrew - enjoy those Gibsons, I intend to put this beauty to good use... -
Can't believe no takers! This is a gorgeous bass in excellent cosmetic and playing condition, the only interest has gone nowhere, this really is a bargain bass, if you email me with any P ex's I will consider 5 string Bongos or US Fenders, cash my way and others. The only reason for selling is it doesn't suit my playing style - nothing else, no catches, its worth much more than I am asking.
Hi - I'm new to the form, and to Ricks in fact, so please pardon my ignorance - why does this only have one pickup ?
I am interested by the way - I have a Grabber & a Ripper to trade.

We think we're sorted at the moment at least, we're trying someone out, so we'll see how it goes for a few weeks and see how he fits in, but many thanks to everyone for your interest, I'll certainly keep everyone's details and get in touch if necessary.
