1. I vaguely recall reading an interview where he says he never ever set his basses up properly back then, always buzzing and just badly set up really. Maybe that's the key?

Buy a fortress and leave it by the radiator for a bit.

2.
OT, but that's a beautiful split screen in your Avatar. BTW, I may have been interested had the toes been included. :)
it can be arranged, they may not be mine though....split came 2nd in show n shine at a show couple years ago, should of left it original though.
Any idea what it weighs and if it's 4 or 8 ohms?
its be 4 ohms and weigh in at 21kilos i think, ill get it on the scales if that sounds wrong.

3. bfm omni 10 500w black carpet, nice shiny deltalite's and sealed jack socket.
it doesn't have any handles and to be honest don't see why it needs any, they don't weigh that much.anyway its much easier to grip the angle at the front with the back to your chest if walking up 4 flights of stairs.
not a mark on it,was about to change the mountings for the speakers to the proper bolts, which i have.and i could do it or you could do it.
i bought a new engine and now cant really afford a head to do it any justice,so ill wait till the summer and build my own i think.

ill consider any non stupid offers p/x for smaller combo type affair

4. Reet i have seen my dream Warwick 6 and must by all means have it.

so

Esp (ltd) 6 string
active 3 band eq
really nice chunk of maple, flamed maple top with really nice 5 peice walnut and maple neck.
sounds ace, plays better than a lot of 6ers ive had in my time.
i bloody love it.
comes with the proper esp hardcase for it.

and

ibanez eda905
had it off ste_m3
its light comfy quite cool bass, sits really nice.
got peizos on the bridge with individual level pots round the back,
big p humbucker,2 vol pots,a mid sweep and a tone, they are a bit odd a first but sound really good.dimarzio strap locks too for jumping about or whatnot.
not everyones cup of tea, awesome neck, could do with a re fret and a tweak,i was going to defret it but the wood is too nice i thought.
truss cover is missing but i could get one made easy enough.
few little dings here and there nout silly.
really wide string spacing too, more like a four string.
oh and it has a 2 band parametric thing on the back too, like through the backplate with a little screwy.

now open to offers and trades what have you, an amp would be nice as im using my pa at the mo and its not all that.
esp now reduced to 300 ono as i was unsure of the price and the ibanez has gone to a new home.
