    Hi Al!



    I play a Stingray since the beginning of the 80s.

    I play rock (progressive), so ymmv...

    I tried many 3 band eq SRs, but I see no value in it. My 2 band is still flat anyway! (Fretlesses is another story!)

    If you like it go for the maple neck: much more attack when finger play

    Avoid black PG on black body: 50% of the production comes that way...

    For the rest: BUY IT! I bought and sold a lot of other basses, that's the only one I always keep!

    ...in the manual there was something like "to reduce harmonic vibration of the neck that can cause tracking problems".

    great movie but...

    have you noticed that this Bongo is a SIX STRING?!!!!

    As fas as I know this is a prototype, not yet in production... THE FIRST 6 STRING MUSICMAN BASS!

    Here are some pics.

    To avoid misunderstandings: I'm not going to part with the red one!

    That said: the black one is really in mint condition. I made the pics this summer with a professional camera and you can see every single fingerprint!
