Lots of PM's but no ones said 'Yes!' yet

I'd left this marked as SOLD by mistake but it's not it's still for sale
-
18 months later and It's back for sale
I bought it back from the guy that originally took it
He paid for it and then never even collected it! (left it at my studio)
Crazy
£895 obo
Don't know why the picture is on it's side -
I forgot about this!
Still for sale

Bump on with price reduction...

-
Feel free to make an offer
-
Looks like the price might not be so great after all!

If it matters to the buyer they can have the original UK SVT Pro III instead of the US converted one
They sound identical to though
S/. -
Thanks Paul
The other one I have was indeed your one
-
I have 2 of these and only really need one
Got it in the US 10 years ago but had it rewired to run at 240v by Ampeg's service people in the UK
It's hardly been used but it works perfectly
It had a full service and a couple of new valves last month (has a PAT tested sticker dated April 2012)
The fan is noisy as they always are with these but it's a loud bass amp so it's not heard when in use :-)
I should have cleaned it up before taking the pictures but the top and bottom have a few scratches and it's been racked a few times
Can post it at buyers expense or you can try it out at my studio in Essex
Feel free to ask any questions

A lazy Sunday bump
-
High time someone bought this.
Here here!
Got a couple of people that want it but are waiting on funds
So as of this morning it's still available
Anyone want to come out to the studio in Essex is more than welcome to try it out in person -
Thanks Rich
I plugged it in yesterday and it certainly sounds like a Ripper should sound! -
It's still here!
-
I don't really know about woods but there's definitely much less grain on my one than in the one pictured above
Thanks for the input and I reckon this would be around the 9lb mark -
Neck feels really good and pick ups look to be original
-
Sorry for the delay in getting pictures (the bass didn't drive at mine until yesterday)
Condition is really good
a few press marks and a tiny patch buckle rash on the back
I haven't had a chance to weight it but it's pretty light (feels the same as a '81 Precision I have here
Nowhere near the weight of a heavy precision or a 4001 -
Still for sale
I was meant to take pictures of it tonight but I didn't get time so I'll do it tomorrow -
Thanks for all the PM's
I hadn't noticed them earlier but I've replied to everyone now
Not looking for any trades apart from maybe a SVT Classic head
Also not desperate for the cash hence the 'thanks but no thanks' replies to the PM offers
It's just that the Ripper isn't something I'm really fussed about keeping so may as well sell it
I got a '72 Ivory 4001 this week to go with the ebony one in this picture (I also have a blue one)
So other basses are demanding my pennies right now -
I'll have the bass with me on Wednesday and will try and get pictures and info late Wednesday night
