Thanks Grangur - I hope I can do the instrument justice. Do I place feedback in your thread ?

I also understand this is my first post, but I've been lurking here since last year!

I bought this guitar to replace an Ibanez SR300 - it's bloody perfect. I cannot fault this beast at all. I am selling because I am focusing on my six-string tenor guitar playing.
It has a natural finish with a white pickguard, black knobs, chrome control plate, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. It has two original Fender jazz pickups and a bone nut.

The serial number is N9410490, built in 1999 in the Corona factory in California. It is 100% original including the original hardcase (of course I have changed the strings, don't be silly)
In the interests of full disclosure, as a 13 year old instrument there are a few minor dings on the body (each less than 3mm) that haven't broken/scratched the finish - you have to hold the guitar up to the light and you can see some spots in the mirror-shine. But that's just mojo, right? The hardcase is a little beaten on on the outside, but is mint inside. Other than that it's mint !!
I haven't gigged this guitar, and am a non smoker so you don't need to worry about that. I can meet in London, arrange pickup from SE4 or post via Parcelforce/courier but Parcelforce have quoted me £37 for 48hr delivery to Manchester...
I'm looking for £650 even.
Please contact me at [email protected] or via PM

I'm in the market for a new MIA Fender Jazz - why would I spend the extra £250-300 for a Standard over a Special? Seems the special has a faster neck because it's satin, and this magical new greasebucket circuit, what does the standard have to offer?
Tony City Comp Engine - for bass?

I'm looking at getting a cheap compressor pull double-duty between my fretless 5 and my guitars and it seems a Mooer Yellow Comp (copy of the Diamond Comp) appears to be a good choice, but Tone City is comparable in price. I can't see any demos with basses though. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
