1. I've had this bass for a few years now, and it hasn't yet left the studio.

A lovely sounding bass, that would suit a beginner very well. I've inserted the blurb below, this was taken from http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/4433...m_campaign=base

  2. Hey,

With great sadness I'm going to be selling the bass I learnt on. I got this bass 5 years ago and used it mostly in my house, with the odd show.

It really is a wonderful bass for tone and a very enjoyable neck.

See below for the tech spec, taken from [post="0"]here[/post]

  3. Hey,

due to a recent break on my electric bass, I'm having to get rid of a few things.

Hopefully I'll be able to shift my double bass flightcase, and avoid having to sell a bass or an amp.

I'm based in Edinburgh, but more than happy to get the train to London to deliver. (can get off the train- East Coat Express- at a stop to meet and give you the case). After looking into shipping to the Isle of White over the weekend, it is apparent that the train is the only way to deliver this item without paying the guts of £400

I'm looking for £250 for the case if collected in Edinburgh, which is a bargain in comparison to others on the market and the price.

I hope to hear from you soon,

  4. Just about to upgrade my pickup, I'm interested to see what people think works best.

For me the debate has always been between replicating the sound of my bass, and evenly covering all the strings, whilst not feeding back.

It is such a hard one to get perfect, and I'm keen to know what people use?

Realist with an EQ is where I'm thinking of going, but not sure about which EQ?

Any help or input would be amazing.

  5. Due to lack of room in my flat, I am going to have to shift my flightcase.

I have taken this case on tour many times, and it is really great. Very heavy and very big, but keeps the bass in perfect nick.

I am based in Edinburgh, and would sell it for £300.

For photos, please get in touch.

  6. Sadly it seems to be me that is at fault, and a reasonably unreliable tour manager.

Its encouraging to hear it can be fixed however, hopefully someone on this will be able to advice and price range, and luither.

  7. Hello,

So in transit my double bass has broken.

The neck has came away form the body, and its just horrific.

Can anyone advise me about what is best to do, and how much a repair is going to cost?

The bass is Romanian, labelled Reghin circa 1985, flat back, (string 103cm; back 108cm)

    I'm based in Edinburgh.
