Yamaha RBX270J (Black)

Another great bass with the emphasis on high-quality value and the performance versatility of a two-octave neck and P/J-type pickups.
The new RBX270J is based on an ergonomic body of solid alder formed with wide cutouts for greater comfort and playability.
A sleek rosewood on maple neck, fitted with 24 frets, offers a playing surface built for maximum speed. The split-style and J-style pickups are fed through a balance control, for mixing the signals from the two pickups, then master tone and volume controls. The RBX270 delivers serious performance with both power and punch.
The RBX270J is perfect for bass players seeking modern features at an affordable price. Expanding on the success of the RBX260, Yamaha has added several improvements including an additional pickup, side mount guitar jack, black headstock, and several exciting new finishes.
The RBX270J is a lot of bass at a really keen price.

3. Yep, it is the head/cab one.
I had hoped I could add a 15" cab but it seems I cannot!
I had looked at a 15" combo but it didn't quite do it for me, so I shall get saving for something bigger and better!!

Only problem is that there is almost too much to choose from and my budget will unfortunately only be at the low end.

Recommendations for 2nd hand but good kit around £250 would be great

4. Hi all,

I have an Ashdown Five Fifteen Mini which is ok, however I find it a little lacking in the depth department.
Can I add another cab, 15" to deepen up the bass somewhat using the same head?

If so, how?!! And what is best to put with it?

If not then please see my wanted ad for a trade/purchase of a unit with seriously FAT BASS!!!!

Its all my Bass teachers fault as he has some lovely kit that makes my little combo sound pretty lack lustre!

Cheers
