Hello prospective bassist friends, I come from a progressive band called Flatlander, who have recently relocated to the Bristol area. We're looking for a confident, talented, creative bassist to jam, gig and record with. The band is well established - we've been playing together now for 18 months. In that time we've played at various festivals and written over two albums worth of fantastic, varied original material that we're looking to get recorded. Though there are only two of us (drummer & rhythm guitar/vox) we've got a big sound influenced in part by bands such as Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Zeppelin and Radiohead. We're looking to develop this sound and really get ourselves on top of the amazing Bristol (and outlying cities) music scene(s).
