1. Up for grabs is my Danish made T-rex compression pedal. Its in great condition, no dents or damage. It was serviced around 6 months ago. Will post in original box with 12V plug. Works great with electric guitar or bass guitar. Very wide range of compression. Can post pictures if required.

Lots of information on the T-rex website:

    Looking for £150, FREE postage.

    All the best,

    Michael

Why don't you swap? Michaelg might have a better chance of selling a Rick as they appeal to a wider audience.

Unfortunately Steven doesn't have a case/bag for his Ric so he can't post...and i'm getting more and more tempted each day to do the 12 hour drive to Scotland...

I'm unsure of this short scale malarkey!

I'm playing a MD sig p-bass and a 4003 ric. Are these basses long or short scale??

Its brilliant once you get the hang of it :P

in the words of wikipedia: On a modern bass guitar, 30" (76 cm) or less is considered short scale, standard (also called long) scale is 34" (86 cm) for a 4-string and 35" (89 cm) for a B-E-A-D-G 5-string.

I think your Rics scale length is 33.25 making it technically a short scale!

  4. Hello all,

    Here are the pictures:

As I've outlined in my post regarding the sale of my Gretsch Broadkaster bass - I am hoping to move to Poland later this year and I'm doing a charity hitch hike to Croatia so I need to raise as much as possible.

As with all of my gear, I've done the best I can to take good care of it. There is minor wear on each piece of equipment but these things are built like tanks and the wear does not affect the sound in any way.

I'm asking for £450 for the cabinet and open to offers.

The head is 450-Watts and features a 9-Band Graphic EQ.

I will put up some pictures over the next few days.

I am happy to accept Paypal or cash.

I am based in Southampton and I'm more than happy for it to be viewed/played etc.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

    All the best,

    Michael

Thanks for the video Clarky! The video is a very fair representation of the sound. I absolutely love using a plectrum, it simply ticks all the right boxes for me :)

  6. Sold! Gone to a good home. Might as well keep the links to the pictures here, they are gorgeous!
