I've got a 5 string Atelier-Z that I bought in 2010 and used as my main instrument until recently when I swapped back to playing a 4 string again. I'm now thinking of selling the Atelier-Z as I just don't play it any more as I have GAS for a Rickenbacker. Does anyone on here know how much the Atelier-Z may be worth?

Hi mate. I actually managed to get one a few weeks back from amother Basschat member. That looks really nice though. Thanks for the mail. Cheers. DG

Good price for a rare red one, most were black - original case, as well.
Good luck with the sale - may have another go with mine, if you find a buyer.
Cheers.
thanks mate - derek -
Nice example of good-quality mid-80s weirdo JapCrap - sadly though, never had one of these myself. At least - not yet.

Got it back after a long term load from my mate - played it for hours and forgot how great this "JapCrap" actually is to play.

Hi Chris - thanks for the big up here - hope you're enjoying the TRB6 - missing it already but have just bought an Atelier Z 5 stringer which is keeping me happy at the moment.
Sold, shipped..
Hi, I think that I may have bought this exact bass last week. Can you remember whether their was a ding out of the lacquer about an inch from the jack socket? -
Hi everyone - I'm having a clear out and this weekend I'm going to retreive my red Westone "The Rail" from a friend who borrowed it from me to learn to play bass about 10 years ago - quickly gave up - and has been storing it for me since. I bought it new from a music shop when I was on holiday in Italy in what must have been the mid 80's? 1985?
I will post some pictures once I've got it back.
I think this is a bit or a rarity and know that in the eyes of many, a pinnacle of Jap Crap, but I'm sure someone somewhere may be interested in it. I have no idea what it is worth and I've not seen it for the past 10 years. It was in reasonable nick when I lent it and was cocooned in its silver and black gig bag (as I remember it?).
I'm open to offers and will post pictures once I've got my grubby hands back on it.
For those of you who don't know here's a reminder

Sorry - forgot forum etiquette and rules - price is £300 o.n.o.
Back with photos early next week. Derek
Retrieved it now - photos posted - completely forgot that pickup had been upgraded to what looks like a split coil DiMarzio with micro toggle switch - original pickup in plastic bag sitting on case (found in case pocket) so could be returned to original if needs be.
Sorry - oops - price now included.

Hi - last one I remember seeing went on eBAY for about £300ish from memory - I'm actually quite excited about getting it back so I can have a shot of it afetr so many years. Who knows I might love it so much I can't bear to be parted from it ever again.

On the advice of member Johngh who sold exactly the same bass on the forum I've decided to reduce the price to £550 to include UK mainland delivery. Thanks for the advice Johngh - I really had no idea how much it was worth.
Cheers, Derek -
