1. What we have here is a very high quality Yamaha BB2004. The bass is is very good condition and comes with newly fitted strings and padded leather strap. The only reason that I'm selling is that I no longer play and am trying to raise funds for a road bike.

This is a natural 4 string thru neck active bass with pj pickups. It is a high quality instrument, largely the same as the still current Nathan East signature Yamaha 5 string. It has individual bridges for each string and quality unbranded machine heads. The are are very smooth. The preamp is based on the Yamaha Nathan East NE-1 EQ pedal, with a sweepable mid control making it easy to get that jazz bass Jaco style growl from the bridge pick up. It can also do a good impersonation of a precision bass. The neck through build means it has no heel and access to all 24 frets is easy. The neck is a medium C shape and it has a low action. The fretboard looks like rosewood, with jazz bass style block pearloid markers.

Now £400.

2. Well unfortunately due to a lack of funds the time has come when I have to let my Shuker go.

Where do I start? well...
The bass was born in September 2010 and has been my prize possession ever since. TBH its been totally babied. The only time it ever left my house was when I took it to lessons and then it was locked up safe in its Hiscox hard case. This makes the bass as near perfect as it could get.

Spec list

Korina body with a polyester base coat with pheonix red candy colour and a high gloss wet look laquer
Maple neck with carbon support rods
Rosewood fretboard with medium frets and mother of pearl dot inlays and 21 frets
Brass nut
Gotoh bridge black
Gotoh tuners black
Seymour Duncan STK-J1 pick ups
Mint green scratch plate

I found it difficult to get a good pic.

The fit and finish really are second to none and the bass really is a pleasure to play.
I'm sure it will make someone very happy.
All are welcome to pop in for a cuppa and a tryout anytime.

BTW
The bass comes with its Hiscox hard case.
I'll securely package and post the bass anywhere in the UK.
If you have any questions or require more pics just let me know
Lead times for one of Jon's basses are around 1.5 years. Why wait ;)

Thanks for looking

Do a massive slide into or out of every single note. Best get a chorus pedal too.

Now thats more like it B)

I've been playing Bach on it and it doesn't sound quite right in places. I'm thinking its my intonation?
