Many thanks for all your replies. The bass is with a friend who is trying to repair it for me at the moment, so I cant post a photo. I'll ask him to take one and send it to me. I broke the pot off putting it into the back of my car, the soft case doesn't give it much protection. It was purchased second hand through Basschat so won't be under warranty. Craig

Hi there, I've broken the volume pot on my Stagg EUB. Does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement?

i have one and it's a very nice easy bass to play, plus, I play in the house band at our local jam and it's no problem if anyone wants to borrow it!!

Many thanks to Colin, Mrs Hampster and Nick for a great day. Also to Sibob for his session on pedals, and to Rich for making me get my 70's jazz out of the cupboard and use it at last nights gig!

Hi Dave
Good to see you and Steve yesterday. It certainly was a loveley day for an outdoor event. Hope it went well, sorry we couldn't stay and see your set.

I've just joined these ranks and I went for the Stagg. I got a good second hand one from a fellow basschatter and its a very good starting point.

Has to be Maple for me.

Welcome from Bisley, I don't have any Jam stories I'm afraid, but I did frequent ABC in Addlestone on a Saturday morning during the early 70's.

Welcome to the forum, good to have another Craig on board.

Hi Steve
Don't sell it!!!!
I've been lucky enough to have played this bass when you brought it to the Jam to show it off, and it play as good as it looks (and I'm not really a precision fan!!!)
You should keep it.

How about Cissy Strut or anything by The Meters, John Fogerty does a great instrumental called Just Picking.
