1. I used the standard seymour duncan jazz diagram. http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wirin...c=std_jazz_bass And no I don't have spare parts :/ I'll put the old pickups back in and see if it makes a difference... because the new pickups are a lot higher output... will this make any difference?

2. I've got a 2008 mexican jazz, fitted some sjb3 pickups bridge and neck, wired them in the way the diagram shows but there is a massive hum everywhere, if I touch the input, bridge and tone pot it makes the hum dim slightly but never makes it go away. If I touch either of the volume pots it either squeals or makes the hum a lot louder, the pick ups to seem to be working but haven't had the strings on yet. I've re-soldered it many a time and tried taking earths out and adding new ones and now I'm stumped.

Any ideas??

HELP PLEASE :)

3. Selling a Japanese Fender 51 reissue precision bass in 2 tone sunburst.

I bought this for recording at the beginning of the year, used it for this and then for one other gig as a spare bass, so has hardly had any use.

The only marks I can find are very very faint scratches on the back of the body, their so faint i can't even get them in a photo.

It has an ash body with a beautiful grain, with a gloss maple neck, fitted with rotosound hybrid strings. (100, 80, 60, 40) with a low - medium action.
All original hardware, control knobs etc. The only thing I have changed is the strings.

I'm selling as i just don't play it enough, it has been sat on a stand for quite a while in my room so feel its time to let it go.

I'm looking for £575 ono.

Here are some photos. :)
