1. Due to a change of job, I no longer have a studio to keep my amps. Being primarily a guitarist this means I have to, regrettably, sell my Tecamp Puma 500 2x10 combo.

Since I've owned it, it's been absolutely faultless and has only been used for recording and small rehearsals. It's an incredibly versatile amp, largely due to the 'taste' knob, 4 band eq, pre/post DI, fx loop, multi voltage and ability to drive larger extension cabinets. The combo is in perfect working order and good cosmetic order too. The original manual will be included in the sale, but I do not have the box.

I am happy to post at buyers expense and although this is already competitively priced (the basschat average for a used one of these is £673) I will accept offers for a quick sale. If you'd like to collect from Oxfordshire (OX28) you're welcome to try it out.

More pictures will be added soon, but if there's any specific pictures you'd like, feel free to message me.

Was £625

2. For sale is my barely used VHT (Fryette) Deliverance 120w head and matching cab. They are in excellent condition, just one small mark on the front of the cab, and come with custom made covers. The Head sells for between £1399 and £1649 and the cab at £899 - £1099 without any covers.

For those of you who don't know VHT (now called Fryette) are a boutique company from America who's users include Richie Sambora, Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett, Prince, Billy Gibbons and many more!

They have a straight forward design yet absolutely HUGE tone, it's a single channel amp, but goes anywhere from sparkling, chiming cleans to a thick, saturated distortion.

For more details look http://www.sfdamp.com/deliverance_features.html here.

I'm willing to deliver anywhere within 30 miles of Oxford for free, 50 miles for petrol costs or ship anywhere in the world at the buyer's expense

I'm looking for £1600 for the pair o.b.o

Feel free to message me for any more information/pictures/haggling.

I have a friend looking for a compressor pedal
I'll message him and see if he's interested

I did, all 4 in different ways. None of them ticked all the boxes though. The Reggie Hamilton Jazz Bass is looking like a real contender at the moment. Has anyone had any experience with this particular model?

Cheers

5. Hi guys
Looking to buy my first bass, i've been borrowing a Fender USA Jazz, Musicman Stingray and Ibanez SR-500 lately and have played a friends P Bass once. I've been playing guitar for around 10 years and so would like to get something half decent. My budget is up to £1000 and i have a good idea of what i want in a bass, just not which bass will give me that!

Tonally - i love the thickness of P basses and the clarity of J basses, i notice there are a few P/J bass pickup combinations about so this could be an option?
Feel - I found the nut width on a P bass too wide for me, something closer to the thin J bass or Ibanez nut width with the depth and action of an ibanez?
Aethetics - I'm not overly fussed, i.e. it doesn't have to be a specific model, but i do much prefer a more traditional shape?

Does such a thing exist? And if so am i unreasonable to expect to get it at £1000 or less?

Cheers
Andy
