What gauge string do you recommend for drop B tuning? Also if I wanted to tune back to standerd E would a heavy gauge string put to much strain on the neck e.t.c.. Guitar is an Ibanez EDB 550. What do you guys recommend? Thanks

I bought it £215 + p&p..... Really is a nice piece of kit. Quick question, I think the action is a little low I'm not an expert on this but seems a bit fret buzzy...

Is this bass any good, would it be suitable for a mixture of styles i.e. Metal and funk.... what sort of range is it..... thanks a lot.

Hi, I am after some advice on getting a new bass. This will be my first bass, i play a bit of guitar but fancy ago at bass. The style i wanna play is a range from slipknot to Red hot chilli's.. I like the look of the Ibanez basses but i dont know if i want a 4 or 5 string, looking to spend around £400.... some advice would be thankful....I have seen an Ibanez SR-520 on Ebay, any good? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, as in slipknot - Korn tuning.. i would like to be able to play both there tuning and standard tuning on the one bass.
