1. Nope. This is a chinese rickenbacker knockoff. But it sounds very close to a traktor bass. Maybe I will run into that large single coil bisonic pickup. I am very happy with those two pickups by the bridge. Sounds good.

Two stacked pots are on it's way. The back pickups are Original Fender pickups. Not the most expensive... But decent stuff.

  2. Based on Berry Oakley's traktor bass I am making a similar bass. I won't use the two small pots under the bisonic pickup. Instead I will use stacked pots. I have used a chinese pickup instead of a bisonic pickup. The bass colour is different. I have used two Fender pickups. It will be called a the chinese name for 'tractor' because of its a chinese bass. I have used a Jack & Danny 1975 jazz bass. WIch is a chinese (?) manufactured bass.

  3. https://www.bax-shop...w-M8GgLgufD_BwE

The Yamaha TRBX504 and 505 are amazing basses. I have the idea this bass sounds like the Yamaha with two humbuckers produced for Louis Johnson.

  4. I've been playing my J&D 1975 now for a year. And it's been nothing more than a pleasure. I put thicker GHS strings on it and bought a brass nut and placed it on the bass, I had to dress the sides of the frets. Wich was half an hour work. After that I have been satisfied with the feel.

  5. I now have a Carlsbro TR100. I serviced it and now it resides in my home as a practice amp for both bass and guitar. It does have a TRS connection on the back for switching the tremolo and reverb. I'd like (since this is an 1972 amplifier) get the original footswitch. Does anyone here have such an Carlsbro amp? And/or knows what footswitch should be paired? I mailed Carlsbro. But they said they only do the new stuff...

  6. I own a Trace Elliot 1008C wich was once in it's lifetime a 8x10 combo. But the head was cutoff from the cabinet. And I thought I was buying a 250H head, later discovered what the 1008C ment...

That very amplifier is an awesome piece of engineering. Stepped knobs, great graphic EQ and quality parts throughout.... It must have cost a fortune to build...

  7. I have a kustom (chanute) 415b cabinet. From the '80's. So it's a tolexed cab, not with naugahyde. I was only able to locate one other Kustom 415b and this is in the Usa. I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen/played one.

  8. I own a Trace Elliot 1008C. Anyone know about it? It's a 250AH head in a 8x10 enclosure..... Unfortunately I only have the head wich was sawn off. If anyone has a fully working 1008C I'd love to see some images so I could recreate that enclosure again....
