I kinda want it, if only to see look on other band members face! :L
Looks like a absolute beast, good luck with the sale. Oh and.. You've missed out power handling + ohms
He may be a cock but what does that incident make you?
It happens to make me very jealous - And him £300 richer.
IMO, obv.
If the guy serving him didn't know his stock well enough, or just didn't care then ill take advantage all day long. But then again, I know people who wouldn't even think about it - all depends on your morals. -
Dude, that mohekan is on par to my old one
Sadly, it didn't like helmets, so has been make more manageable lol -
Would also like to know postage costs, and how it would be sent regarding packing ect?
Drop me a PM -
That 18in must be epic. I'm almost tempted to buy it just to see what it can do
Unfortunately I don't play ska or anything of the like, so would be useless if amusing.
If your having trouble trying to shift these, making your title more precise could help you get a lot more hits?
All the best with the sale though,

Beautiful bass - all the best with the sale

Temptation.
Or do I just chuck a new set of Ernie Balls on my P bass n Wizard Thumpers?
Or do I save up, sell both my basses n buy a used fender special, or MM SUB?
Decisions, decisions! I'm never quite sure what I aught to do.
Probably first option. Probably. -
I'm not gonna get the money in time for this am I sucks being a student at times!
Good luck with the sale, and if a miracle happens i'll jump at it..
Anyone want a Fender Squire P Bass? Sunburst? -
Absolutely gorgeous mate, I wish I had the money!

Bass Chat rule no1 -
No pics = it doesn't exist
I've heard good things about these though, gl with the sale!

Many here have said the Terror won't compete this any all valve amp at higher gain levels without sounding harsh.. And 'one trick pony' seems to be the most used expression when describing it :L
And valve amps sound louder due to the colouring @ powerstage + pre amp and the harmonics this creates - bigger ranger of sound = perceived as louder.
With the cabs.. Just go try one - specs mean nothing if it does exactly what you want @ volumes you need. I'd be cautious using anything low powered with them though -
The Trace Elliot Twin Valve head is lightweight (for a valve amp) and 110watts - PLENTY for pub gigs. Good luck finding one though! Perhaps the Ashdown Little Bastard would do you better for overdriven sounds though, obv depends what size venues you regular and what style.
Good luck, I'm glad I got to valve's very quickly! Proves new isn't necessarily best
P.s - More efficient drivers/more speakers = less need for power. So either splash out on something fancy (like a Barefaced compact/midget?) Or go cheaper n heavy! -
Cheapo flimsy thing, I didn't expect it to last as long as it did tbh
But your right,.
*grumbles quietly about having to use picks in the first place*
Its a bass guitar, 4 big fat strings. Used for backing. If I wasn't such a nice person (or didn't have as much pride!) I'd tell em to bugger off n play something that involves playing my instrument how its designed to be used. But then I wouldn't get a cool solo bit
Rant over. I feel better now. Nylon jim dunlops, 1mm.. Plenty of practice, and stop myself moaning.
Thanks basschat, in particular Bloodaxe. Ill let you know how it goes. -
Thanks, ill give that a try!
Fingerstyle its fine up until that riff, which as you say - bloody impossible
RE spankin it hard - I've just cracked the .50 in three places, only noticed when it felt a bit odd! -
Obviously, quite easily... with a pick
Unfortunately this is a foreign item to me, and while i have tried my hand at it a few times recently - playing with a pick that is - i just cannot get that irrate bee noise just after solo.
Using all four fingers has proven far too sloppy, slow and is exhausting after a while.
Tried a very limited no. of pics, the heavy ones just make me feel like im trying to cut through my strings, while the .50 ive tried does the job, i still cannot get close enough.
Ideally, id like to swap back to fingerstyle after these parts, as far more confident + less likely to make a fool of myself!
Any advice Re pick gauge, technique ect will be more than welcome!
Thanks,

Could be interested,..
"unless your close and postage not needed." Close to where? Scotland? Ireland? Japan? -
Met up a few weeks ago, Stu is a great guy to deal with and went out of his way to help.
Ended up with exactly what was advertised and that makes me a happy chap! - Deal with confidence. -
Dealt with stephen a little while back now,
Sound guy, really helpful and deal with confidence!

Hi all,
I havnt dealt with many here, but all have been pleasant and informative - and I'm sure ill be tempted into something else soon so thought it'd be a good idea to get a feedback thread going! (This place really doesn't help my bank account )

Absolutely beautiful. I just wish I could afford, it'll be months til I can, and I have a feeling it won't last that long!
Best of luck -
Where in NW London?
I'm in once the weather is sufficiently less icy to allow me to come on my motorbike...!
I hope your very patient then! :L
Having fallen off myself (on a moped, don't get excited) I can confirm its bloody horrible. Better than it was though -
Tell you what, if u feel like including some castors with this (fitted) we may meet again!
Dont fancy the train journey without them haha
Give me a PM if interested -
No good without a price!
I may even be interested in this if its reasonably priced -
If its your sort of thing (Perhaps not!)
Why not try some flyleaf, dead simple riffs all around.. and it's always good to bring the dirt with "im so sick".
Cassie may appeal more to you though?
:L Tell you what, thats the first time EVER ive recommended a christian band haha! Awesome live.

The reviews done by companies trying to sell this product could not of done more to put me off it! Everything about it seems plastic and cheap - concentraiting not on the amazing sound quality and impressive features which make it easy to use (no prizes for guessing why) and on the fact its avaliable in different pretty colours.
If it had simple controls similar to the Terror Bass, a decent compressor/limitor and perhaps a few fancy effects (Reverb, fuzz?) it would be perfect for my needs.
To be fair I'm still looking to try it out - find out for myself!
