1. Hi guys,

Looking to do a straight swap or part trade for my gorgeous Gibson LP5 Deluxe for a decent Fender P. I got this bass around 10 years ago for £1500 so am looking for something in a similar price range. If you just want to buy it outright then i'd take £1500 but i'd prefer to trade.

I haven't seen another one of these with this finish so it's pretty unique. its from 1993/94 and in good condition. Massive sound, great components (Bartolini, Grover etc as you can see from the pics) and a nice player.

I just want a P bass!!!! i don't feel complete without one! and the Gibson is currently surplus to requirements and is the only one of my basses I feel I could part with.

Im based in south east London so if you want to come have a look and a play get in touch.

Thanks
Rhys

The spacing is pretty close, closer than a 5 string Music Man for example. The neck is chunky but very smooth and comfortable.

3. Hello,

This is my Gibson Les Paul Supreme. It's one of only 100 made I believe between 1993-95, none of which where shipped to Europe. It's a lovely player and a real looker. It's in mint condition but it doesn't really fit how I play any more.
I got in about 3 years ago for £1500. I'm looking for £1200. make me an offer!

Mahogany body and neck
Flame maple top
Ebony fingerboard
Batolini Humbuckers
Gover Tuners
Gibson Hardcase

Here are some pictures.

Im Brighton based if anyones interested in having a closer look at it.

4. Hello,

I'm selling my Gibson Les Paul (3) Deluxe 5 string.

I got it about two years ago for Rn'B/ jazz band but not longer use it regularly.

It's one of only 100 or so made and none of them where shipped to Europe so it's a bit of a unique one. But aside from it being rare and collectable, it plays and sounds fantastic. It has a huge bottom end and is crystal clear up the top.

It features:
Mahogony body and neck
Flame Maple top
Ebony fingerboard
Bartolini Humbucker x2
Active electronics
Grover Machine heads
Mother of Pearl fret inlays
Volume, pick up blend, bass and treble controls

It was made between 1992/93 and is in great condition, it comes with a gibson hard case in near perfect condition.

You should be able to check out some photo's at this address
http://www.myspace.com/my/photos/album/2026359

I'm looking for £1000 but am open to sensible offers.

Thanks
Rhys

5. Hello, I'm looking at selling my Gibson les Paul Deluxe 5 string. Its in perfect condition and sounds amazing, but it no longer really fits with my new playing style and I could do with a P Bass or fretless instead.

Its features:

USA made
Mahogony body and neck (three piece)
AAA Quilted maple top
Rosewood fingerboard
x2 Bartolini humbuckers
Active Electronics
Grover Machine heads
Mother of Pearl inlays
Volume, pickup blend, bass and treble
Gibson hard case

It's quite an unusual bass and has a sound and feel of its own, huge bottom end from the Bartolini's but extremely dynamic and responsive higher register. I've struggled finding out all that much about it. It was made between 1993-1996 and only about 100 of them where made, none of which where exported to Europe. It was bought from an American dealer by its previous owner about four years ago and I've had it for the past two years.
I've gigging it plenty of times in funk, jazz and rock contexts with good results. It has very high output so can sound aggressive and punchy as well as smooth and clear.

Im looking for £1300, but would consider part exchange with a American P bass or a mid range fretless of some kind.

Please take a look at some pictures by following this link and feel free to ask whatever questions you may have.
