1. I'm trading my Squier Vintage Modified Fretless.
I would also consider selling but only if this covers the cost of another Bass.

Only played a handful of times and unfortunately due to the demand of teaching I need a fretted 4 string bass.
I would trade for a Squier precision or jazz bass.

The fretboard has slight wear from being played but this is very minimal.

Collection available from West Midlands (Birmingham area) or delivery can be arrived.

More close-up photos will be added soon.

2. His most recent stuff is actually pretty good. The clip you posted just shows that he has some talent but I agree it's been lost along the way. If this guy actually practised and remained humble I think he'd make an amazing musician as that drum solo wasn't bad at all. I've seen better drummers obviously but he's doing a bang up job (pun)

3. I used to have Fender Modern Player Jazz V but I couldn't get on with it. Always seemed hard work compared to my Sandberg.

Exactly. I know as soon as I sell it I'll miss it. It's been my gigging bass for the last 4 years so it's definitely sentimental.

Here's to holding on for better times. Although I keep looking at all those Dingwall basses in the Bass for Sale section.

4. Brought the Darkglass Super Symmetry pedal from jtotheltotheo and it came as described.

Well packaged, well protected and it arrived the following day (although I missed the delivery).

Top lad.

5. Who's had any experience with Rockschool (now re-branded as RSL Awards), Trinity, LCM or any other musical exam body. I'm asking more in a teaching context for students more than personal study or taking the exam yourself.

My personal favourite is Rockschool but I do have a few students using Trinity.

6. Hi,

I'm looking for a wholesaler/distributor for bass strings. I currently co-own and run a music educational academy offering private 1-2-1 music tuition for keyboard, Vocals, Electric Guitar, Drums and of course Bass guitar. We're looking for companies that we can affiliate with and sell their products at our academy to our students. Does anyone know any companies that would be interested in something like this.

I've tried contacting a few major string companies but i've had no replies so far.

Thanks for all the help.

7. Feedback for Scooby.

I brought a TecAmp Puma 500 from him on Saturday and not only did he give me a detailed run down of the bass head explaining how each dial works etc he also recommended bass players, places to go and check out bass equipment and how to get more recording work.

Such a nice guy and straight to the point. No messing around and made himself available on short notice.

8. Interested in music tuition from working, gigging and experienced teaching musicians? Do you want music tuition in a music studio where we provide all the necessary equipment? Teach Me Music offers a wide range of instrumental tuition for Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Piano, Vocals and Music Theory.

Learn new techniques, styles of music and how to apply all of this to relevant musical situations such as gigging, jam sessions, practising to songs, recording and improvisation. We offer a multitude of teaching material from books, video, pdfs, handouts, Rockschool Grade books and notation (tab/standard notation and chord charts).

All of our staff and tutors are DBS/CRB certified and our academy is approved by Rockschool (the U.K.s leading examination board for rock exams). We are happy to teach Trinity and LCM material and grading if you prefer.

We are located in Stourbridge (the West Midlands) but we offer home tuition and online lessons where suitable.

If interested, please drop me a message so we can discuss further.

Thank you.
