1. Need to sell my trusty EBS HD350 bass amp. Used lightly for a few years, but recently swapped to a compact kit instead. This head is brilliant. It has great tone, versatility and, what every bass player needs, power.

Played by some iconic bassists like Marcus Miller and Tal Wilkenfeld. Comes with the hard case. Price is for a delivered item - so I'll cover the postage.

Amps features:

• 100% Solid State Design
• Drive control
• Tube Emulated Drive Control
• Compressor/LimiterPowerful
• 4-band EQ
• Serial and Parallel Effects loop
• Floating balanced XLR output
• Built-in speaker simulator
• 9 volt EBS Phantom Power System
• Active Intelligent cooling system

Any questions, please ask!

2. After just a few months of owning it, I'm having to sell my AMT S25b mic ... cash shortage. Annoying as it is, I'm hoping to find it a new home on here. It is a great piece of kit!
No trades please!

3. Thanks BobVbass - these guys look nicely priced. Do you think they can do a publishing quality as well? You said you did demo stuff with them, so just wanting to make sure the lower price is not with a reason. ;)

Cheers!

... and keep 'em coming! Nothing's been decided yet!!

4. Hey dudes! (and ladies, obviously)

I'm after some recommendations on where to go for a recording session. We are a small - 4 piece + vocal - jazz band and we looking to release our first album doing christian jazz music. All our demo's we've done ourselves in a home studio, but it's way too much work to be recording, mixing and playing ... so where do we go to get this done properly? Some requirements are:

- plug-and-play studio - we want to be able to walk in, plug ourselves in and crack on
- ideally available for recording on Sundays
- previous experience with recording jazz bands
- option for recording and post production would be great
- West London or West of London (we are mostly based in Berkshire) would be ideal in terms of location, but are happy to travel a bit for the right place (within reason, so Scotland is out of question ;) and probably Midlands)

Let me know if you know someone that knows someone ...

5. SOLD - please remove!

I can't believe I'm doing this, but here we go: FOR SALE is my dear companion and faithful friend Fender Jazz Standard (USA), all in black. I loved it in total black, it just fits with whatever you do, whatever you wear.
It sounds great, it's in an awesome condition. Bought it from another bass chat member some 6 years ago I think. He had it from new I believe (2002 if I'm not mistaken). Comes with the original case and strap. Strings are a few months old, think I got Slinkeys on, which work and sound great. It's been regularly looked after by a 'local' Andertons dude.

It's been used over the years, but always looked after well, so no major wear and tear to report. Pics should show anything that's on it. If you need any detail zoomed in, just ask.

Am based in Bracknell or The City, whichever fits you better. If anyone wants to come try it, please let me know. Happy to ship at extra cost.

... selling due to cash flow issues and space issues ... can't really have more than one bass at the moment!

6. some photos to those that were asking for them ... took me a while to get round to do it! Light is a bit pants, but I'm absolutely loving the bass!!

7. Well, I'm pleased to say, the new strings did the trick. In mad panic I went for the Cobalts and now I think they are uberbright!! Hahahaha But knowing them, they will dull down in a short while. :)

Now I need to get used to the bass and find my tone... or tones, we'll see. Lots of buttons to press!!
