  1. Much loved sandberg California tm5. Original Sandberg soft case included. Plays perfectly, set up with sandberg round wounds including a tapered B string. I believe they are the 45 gauge set, just the right amount of tension in the B. Finish is not pristine, but this is the aged model so it’s not supposed to be really. There is a nice patina on the metalwork and some tasteful markings on the body. There’s certainly nothing that’s not in keeping with that character. There is dink in the neck and headstock that I don’t think came from the workshop however, and the pocket zip on the case doesn’t work anymore These are really great instruments and I would consider swapping for a vm4. I just don’t want to deal with 5 strings anymore. Price is £1200, looking for a quick sale IMG_0112.mov
  2. Missed you couldn’t see the writing on the note and added a little video IMG_0084.mov
  3. Sale price: £1300, looking for quick sale Serial number - 42737 (bridge stamp) Sale description - "The serial number dates the bass to 1994 (yes it's 'that' age when the bridge had the string mutes!). It was originally a fretted bass but a previous owner has fitted the bass with a 1997 EBMM fretless neck. The two have married perfectly and have produced a magnificent bass. The neck is constructed from a rather nice piece of birdseye maple as were most Musicman basses in the 90s, the fingerboard is, as expected, Pau Ferro as all MM fretless basses. Condition wise this beauty is really good with only a minor scuff and marks on the and some minor wear marks on the finger board that look like they were made by round wound strings. Nothing that affects the playability though. Currently fitted with schaller strap lock buttons, comes with an original hardshell Musicman case and is currently fitted with thomastik infield jazz flat wound strings. Weight 9.8lb." I purchased this bass off this website in 2017 and it has barely left the house. Though I have enjoyed playing it at home.
  4. If you are not totally sure what kind of sound you are after/like, maybe it better to go the multi effects route. I'm pretty sure most will let you go from a dubby thump to a slappy ziingy sound in a single stomp. Not much of an expert on multi-effect stomps, but if I had to choose I'd be thinking about which one had the best quality construction and least noise rather than which had most silly effects crammed in.

Cheers Nik[/quote] condition for both is exceptionally good. the EBS cab has lost the plastic cap for its horn attentuator, but there is no damage to the pot shaft and I find I can twist it easily enough without it. I'm pretty sure you could get a replacement for next to nothing.
