They pushed the boat out when they made this range with the Birdseye Poplar top, nothing this like this currently being made.

  3. As part of BBC Radio 2's guitar season, Johnnie Walker travels to Los Angeles to meet one of the most prolific and widely heard bass guitarists in history, the legendary session player Carol Kaye.

Should be well worth tuning in to!

  4. I have the Ibanez BTB775PB & the SR400PB both have the birdseye poplar top. These have a dark lacquer coating but the quality & finish of the wood is spot on, none of the rough edges etc as in anderapanna's SR1605
Maybe Ibanez has changed factories hence the difference in workmanship.

  5. I have for sale a Zoom B3 in pristine condition.

Comes boxed with all the manuals, CD's, Leads etc.

Only had home use & not been gigged.

Price £110 posted anywhere in UK or £100 collected.

(lcd display is not scratched, just reflection in photo)

I'm from Yorkshire and I've never once come across that expression. As for your wife, I will remain silent.

I heard this expression a lot as a kid also, might be a west yorkshire thing, should add I'm an ex Bradfordian also

Anyone know if this will work on a Motorola Xoom tablet?

Had a look at the irealb site & it has some good features. Band in a Box but a lot less £ss

  8. Yes, the 100w is too much for this, I use a 100w iron to solder 1/2 inch lead came for the stained glass work I do. A 25 - 35w iron is fine.

Get some Multicore solder & have a go at joining some copper wires first.

As suggested cut the wire from the pots rather than trying to de-solder them, you are more likely to overheat the joints & damage the pots by trying to un-solder them.

I like the fact that you tell us what colour the pixel is :D

I thought it best to mention this just in case the person getting it happened to be colour blind..... :P
