That didn't last long. Not surprising really.

Anyone here bag it?

I think this Yamaha on Ishibashi is absolutely gorgeous...

The only reason I haven't bought it is because I've decided there's no point in buying basses I won't use at the moment which rules out anything that doesn't have 5 strings.

Fair enough. I just couldn't see myself paying that much (I wouldn't pay the ridiculous amounts for old fenders as well, though).

Why - so you can pay higher Ebay fees without actually selling the item??? :)

What I don't understand is that it doesn't even have the XLR out!

i guess if the seller was really sneaky, he could see what the buyers maximum bid was by bidding himself, then say it fell through and do a second chance offer.

DISCLAIMER - this is purely speculation and doesent express the actual views of cycrowave or basschat

I've been away for a bit, but some basses just keep on coming back onto ebay again and again. Haven't seen one of these before though. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vox-Through-neck-fre...=item4cf74ea0a4

bought this body andneck for a tenner the other day. It's had a really amateur defret but plays well enough.
Needs new electronics and machine heads too. Anyone have any clue where i might find replacements?

Pop on over to the Westone forums and ask around there - still a good buy!

Very strange looking bass labelled "bruno" conqueror. I think this has to be Japanese, doesn't it?

Has a strange appeal. Probably means a trip to Specsavers is in the offing :-)

This is how the through neck Vox bass would have looked before the mindless tard chopped it into arse shaped firewood.

Shame they even ruined the neck, would have made a nice project.

I was watching this one sell, but I can do nothing with the body only of a set-neck bass. Cheap though, for anyone who has an Ibby Artist with a broken body. If any such exist. I suppose if the electronics work and the bridge is in one piece, it was worth it for the parts.
