That'll be an RS924 Roadster. And a complete wreck, by the looks.

No 1970s MI????? Vesters.importer was a US company
I know the Vestax guitars are MIJ nowadays, lovely guitars but difficult to get hold of in the UK,and their decks are overrated and mixers toooooooooooo expensive
Late to the party but all MIK, as BigAlonBass' link should prove.

Always liked the Vester Argus - a BCer was selling one a few months ago, wish I'd gone for it now...

Cheers Jon
Its just over the years I have seen a few links to MIDCO including this bit from WIKI.

Rather than manufacture the instruments themselves, Vester used imported instruments, which were made by Saehan Guitar Technology, a subdivision of Zaozhuang Saehan Music Co., Ltd in South Korea (now known as Sunghan Music). The guitars were imported into the United States by Midco Music (now Musicorp), at the time chaired by L.Dean Samuel. Design specifications were dictated by Samuel Music in Illinois and revolved around variations on Saehan's preexisting top-of-the-line models.

Eventually, Vester guitars managed to find a good home in the marketplace and covered a broad range of Japanese and Korean made middle-to upper-range acoustic and electric guitars, along with basic solid state amplifier models. Through contacts in the music industry Vester was able to secure endorsements from several popular musicians of the period, including the Country and Western band Alabama.
I had a fella contact me offering 3X what its currently at on the bay..............Its most likely a wind up???

Not crap - a Bass Collection SGC Nanyo lined fretless - this looks to be a factory fretless rather than a defret, since the dots on the side of the neck are lined up with the fret markers. I have one of these , unlined, and it's brilliant.

I had one of these that someone had resprayed red (it was originally white like this). They also sprayed the pickups purple!
Fantastic bass though - crystal clear low "B" & you can get loads of different sounds from them.
I sold mine after I bought a Dean DB95 5 string (another very underated bass). The guy who bought it stripped it back to bare wood & stained it.
It looked fantastic when he'd finished it. They're great basses.
I had this - the memorably named Vester OPR1335EQ. It was actually much better than I expected, well made, decent finish and good active electronics. But insanely narrow at the nut for a 5-er, and no resale value. I bought it for £100 and managed to lose money when I sold it.

Maya bass. Looks pretty nice, and with the original hard case might even be worth up to half, or at least a third of, what the seller is asking for it.

Nice bass but the price is demented - 1/3 is probably about right. Ain't the original hard case either!

Watching the 99p, no reserve Maya P with interest - not to buy but because I have a burst/rosewood Maya P (awaiting its pre-flogging scrub up) which is otherwise identical...
